"I like shopping at homeland. They always have an assortment of drinks. Meat seems to always be fresh. The employees are mostly friendly. Bakery had fresh rolls and pies as will as cake. Flowers too!"
"Brown meat on the counter for sale on a daily basis. Very old and dirty out dated broken refrigeration, leaky and rusty. Flys all over the produce and very dirty, never cleaned and 50 years old.Molded and dirty brown vegetable and fruit racks. Sticky and slimy old rotten produce for sale"
"Great staff; very extensive and diverse stock; overall excellent value, especially “Best Choice” store brand; excellent fresh meat and vegetables; increasingly many organic choices; good place for ethnic ingredients (esp. Chinese and Mexican; good deli"
"Our neighborhood store, shopped here more than any other store of any kind since the 90's. Spoke with Val the main manager about an issue, appreciate the interaction and response. All good."
"First, I want to recognize the difficulty of living and working as an essential worker during the pandemic. However, not only did I see three employees not wearing masks, I purchased expensive lunch meat that is more than a week expired. I told the cashier I would not be returning because of the three employees and she explained that it was slow, so they weren’t worried about wearing masks. The expired meat is a whole different situation as I might have returned it and advised them to check their deli meats, but I don’t even want to go back inside. I will continue to pay higher prices and go to a less convenient store since they respect their customers. Best of luck to our essential workers."
