"Openly admitted myself on my accord, thinking I could leave any time if I didn't like it. Was skeptical at first about addiction counselling, but after two sessions, I learned more about myself than I possibly could with any other counselors I've seen in the past. The staff is courteous, respectful, caring, and most of all, passionate. If you want to get help, and get better, this place is where it's at."

"Five times I have asked them to send in character references or at the very least completion letters of the program I went through. They just want your money and will pretend they are caring... but actions go further. If you are looking for a treatment center that will help you in your case do not go here. If you are looking for a treatment center that will help you with your addiction... also don't go here as a counselor has admitted that 95 percent of her patients "relapse." They show favoritism towards patients who are completely lost and will disregard any problems that you may have that they could actually help with. My individual sessions I can't complain... however group sessions with Lois are counter productive as her main goal seems to be favor females and disregard any true logic that can be displayed. I've never been part of a business that is so manipulative and down right lies. Im heading there now to grab my contract from them and have a lawyer review any breaches they have done."

"I have worked in the field of dual diagnosis for many years. I find the staff at First Step to be professional and very helpful. I have referred many clients to them. They have been honest about their abilities to meet the needs of my clients. They have also assisted in finding the proper services for clients that did not fit into their programs or would benefit from other services. Both of them have earned my trust, not an easy thing to do I'm afraid. But they do. Easily I would recommend them. The front desk staff are very friendly and great at their jobs. I've had multiple people check on me if they see me outside the offices. They all make me feel like they truly care. It's a good feeling. I don't give 5 stars to anyone but multiple people have gone above and beyond."
