"Having our basement flood due to a water heater pipe bursting was an extremely stressful experience. American Water Damage made it super simple. They worked with the insurance company on cost, mitigated the water damage, scheduled vendors to replace the drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc that needed replaced. They handled everything and took a lot of stress away from me. I would recommend them to anyone in a similar situation."

"Want to make a stressful time more stressful? You found the right place! They'll give you a reasonable bid when they come out and assess the damage. But when you get the bill, get ready for a surprise. There was no communication during the clean up process to discuss that additional charges above the quoted bid would be necessary to complete the job. And it took over 5 months to get an itemized invoice from them! These guys will complete your demo then promise you a rebuilder to come out. You may be left hanging forever. 6 months later and they still haven't contact me about rebuilding. All in all, terrible communication, deceitful pricing, annoying harassment about me paying an invoice they refused to send me until 5 months later. Thanks AWD"

"I had redone my floor in my house about 6 months ago and I had an emergency leak from my dishwasher which caused my whole kitchen to flood, My wife and I had reached out to American water damage to see if they could help with the problem and they immediately had people out there the same day within in 2 hours.. not only were they able to stop the water from coming in but they were able to identify the problem and get everything solved and moving in the right direction in a very fast manner. Would highly recommend their team for any restoration needs. Their manager Jason made the process very simple to understand and he helped us through the process very quickly. I could not be more pleased with the service."

"One week for water damage restoration turned into almost over a month. We were told we cannot be home (they ripped out one of our walls) they keep adding days to completion. First 10 days, then 10 days, now 15 days from today until the date of completion. We have a toddler and where the wall has been removed would be dangerous+we are without a shower. The damage was to our subfloor, part of the foundation, and the shower pipe and the wall. They initially said they would replace the subfloor, shower, pipe, and flooring. Then after they ripped out the wall it turned into just placing fans towards the exposed shower, and keeping everything but the pipe (also they said there was A LOT of mold growth and they did not handle the removal correctly beyond spraying + we had a 100% water saturation reading over a week after the inital burst) I beg you to look elsewhere. Still can't be home and wasted our time. There is most likely structural damage to our home and the work and timeframe has been awful."
