"Dr. Applegate used to be my doctor when I was an adolescent and I don’t ever remember the office staff ever being disrespectful to anybody. I’ve never been disrespected on the level that I was disrespected because we live in CRETE and we were a little late unfortunately and we got one point taken away from us and if we are late two more times we will be kicked out of the office and have to find a new practice, I’ve never been disrespected like that before, and explaining what was going on with our child. They had no clue like they’ve never heard of certain things Or how ear tubes are part of surgery it’s just mind blowing how disrespectful people are nowadays Dr. Applegate would not be happy, nor would he be disrespectful like that to anybody it is the older heavier set woman who is extremely disrespectful, and I think she is biased to others. We will try again, but if we are disrespected on that level again we will remove ourselves from the practice and go elsewhere Because of spoken to on the level of being degraded is not needed or should be allowed. That’s unacceptable behavior from a receptionist at a doctors office."

"We first started to see Dr. Applegate when our daughter was 'misread' on the scale for our daughter at PCP office. Based on my sister's recommendation, we switched to Dr. Applegate. Dr. Applegate has been nothing but the BEST to us! We are able to be seen when we need to be; if he can't, the PA can, and they all are familiar with our kiddos! We are never rushed. I have two kiddos that test me every day. Dr. Applegate's advice has been the best thing that we have ever received! He has treated us like no questions are too silly, or nothing is a worry. The staff at Children's First Pediatrics is fantastic as well! They are so friendly and welcoming!"

Today I needed to see him and I got a timely apt and I didn't mind the wait at all. I Cherish the Care and effort he puts into the very KNOWLEDGEABLE DIAGNOSES with real life feed back. "Dr. Applegate has been an excellent provider to my four children. We always get in to see him without issue and he spends a tremendous amount of time answering their questions as well as mine. I never feel like my family is rushed or "just another patient." I would say I am somewhat picky when it comes to pediatricians as I am a pediatric nurse and have been around all personalities in the field. He is very honest, which I appreciate. He will tell you like it is which I find refreshing. For example, he obviously is very up-to-date on vaccine research. He will spend as much time needed discussing concerns or addressing questions from parents but ultimately if the parent decides not to vaccinate (other than serious reasons to not vaccinate) they can not be a patient. I love that he has the courage to ultimately protect his patient population based on the most current research."
