Chadron State Park, located in Chadron, Nebraska, is Nebraska's first state park, established in 1921. Nestled among the unique buttes and canyons of Nebraska's Pine Ridge, it has been a popular destination for camping, family reunions, and vacations for a century. Visitors can enjoy the stunning landscapes, hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing in Chadron Creek and the park lagoon, and guided horseback trail rides. The park also offers a swimming pool, paddle boats, archery, tennis courts, and more. With 22 cabins available for rental, as well as campsites for tents and RVs, visitors can relax and unwind in the beautiful surroundings. The park is also close to other attractions such as Fort Robinson State Park and Agate Fossil Beds National Monument. "The park is beautiful. Lots of fun things to do, like paddle boats, horse rides on trails, swimming, shooting range, Wehad a picnic by the creek and playground. The grill was relatively clean and easy to use. We plan on returning to camp and enjoy the activities they offer."

"Getaway that is different than the rest of Nebraska! The Steamboat Loop trail, paddle boats, horse trail ride, shooting range, playground, picnic areas, and clubhouse offer something for everyone of all ages. We stayed in the cabins a few days. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked. The bedding and towels were clean and comfortable (I brought my own but didn't use them), and the drinking water is good. Each cabin has a picnic table and fire ring (as do tent sites). Of course, it is a cabin in the country, so expect moths and bugs, and to find ticks or snakes on hikes. Be sure to bring bring spray!"
"Even on a rainy day the park was beautiful and relaxing! If you go into town there's a little place called Helen's, stop in and try their BBQ bacon Cheeseburger! You won't regret it! We will be making more trips to CSP this summer;"
