"UPDATE: stopped by for insecticidal soap a week ago bc Google said "Open now". When I got there I realized they're closed for the season. However, the owner saw me and came out to ask what I needed. He let me in to buy a few bottles and I also picked up some systemic for $8. He said they are open by appt during the winter. Very nice interaction! The landscaping around this place is impeccable. The shop itself is set back from the street a ways, so I actually passed it without realizing the first time! I was on a mission for houseplants. At the time I visited they did not have a large selection of houseplants, mostly annuals that you can overwinter with succulents in one greenhouse, and a slightly larger variety mixed in with their perennials in another. They did have string of turtles in hanging baskets for just under $30. I picked up several succulent plugs and a few annuals; an aloe I bought had 4 pups so it was a great value! They have a nice selection of pots and they will pot up your plants for you for a minimal labor fee using their own soil blend. They stock insecticidal soap for $10 which I will definitely keep in mind. They also have trees and shrubs on the side of their main greenhouse. I enjoyed the little waterfall/pond and green space next to their succulent greenhouse. The owner seemed friendly, and his employee was more than happy to answer any questions & was just delightful. He held the door for me when I left since I declined a box in favor of juggling plants. Currently they are running a sale, with perennials at 30% off! I got a 'sweet sandia' echinacea and I'm excited to see how it fares. I'd like to see a larger selection of affordable, unique houseplants in the future. I'm supposing they are limiting their stock due to the end of the season."

"I have been everywhere, and I can say that this place has awesome, great condition, and rare variety plants by far in Lincoln. The prices are cheaper that any other plant nurseries in town. It was my first time going to this place and I had no intension of buying any plants and I ended up buying 7 plants. Also, they are pretty knowledgeable and eager to help, even the lady wrote a piece of paper on how to take care of one of the plants that I purchased (I attached a picture). It is my favorite place now to buy plants and definitely go back. I have to say that plants kept in good condition and bug free which is very important. Thank you."

"By far my favorite greenhouse!!! The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful, and has impeccable taste in plants. In my opinion, Urban Trails has the best selection of annual, perinneal, terrarium plants, and succulents in Lincoln. Although the tree/shrub selection isn't huge, they are all very healthy, and many are difficult to find anywhere else. Besides having some of the healthiest plants I've ever purchased, the property is absolutely gorgeous. You get to explore two greenhouses, a tiny area with pots and planters for sale, and an outdoor space that is beautifully landscaped. Even if you're not actively looking for a plant it's a nice space to just have self care time and be inspired. But to be honest, it's hard to leave there empty handed. The prices are absolutely reasonable. In many cases I've found them to be less than other places in Lincoln and higher quality. I've had great success with all the plants I've purchased from here. I'd definitely recommend supporting this local small business."
