"Giving her 3 stars because I didn’t have many sessions with her and I think she has potential but from what I did have was not very good. During the last two sessions, (I had 3 total), she looked at her phone and Apple Watch multiple times and even texting a few times, which is very unprofessional and as a client makes me feel incredibly invalidated or acknowledged and also I’m thinking, do you even care? We did not set any therapy goals at the beginning of therapy and it didn’t seem like therapy would be going anywhere to actual help me, especially since she seemed to be doing most of the talking about her knowledge and life experiences. I’m sure that helps some people, and I think it’s important for a therapist to relate at times, but it made me a little uncomfortable and things kept getting off topic when I just wanted coping skills and to focus on my goals and dig deeper into my actual issues."
