"We are an adoptive family who sought help because of rages and manipulative behavior from our adopted child. We chose Dr. Talbot and Lori Rodriquez because they were the closest therapy option for us. They were a very poor fit for our needs. I was hoping for best current practices for encouraging attachment and did not find this to be what we experienced. After being accused of being abusive (despite our seeking care because of our son's manipulation) we switched care to The Child and Family Therapy Institute in North Platte and our son is doing SO much better. He looks forward to his sessions, has no more rages, and I am confident that we are receiving current best practices. Our experience with this office added trauma and delayed our family getting the help we so badly needed. I'm sure they are great people, but it was just a really awful experience for us to have worked with them."
