House of Flowers

"Ordered a flower arrangement for a funeral; order was placed via telephone on Tuesday. Upon arrival at the funeral on Thursday, no flower arrangement was present nor had been delivered for the visitation scheduled on Wednesday evening. House of Flowers was contacted - they stated they had the wrong date, planning to deliver the flowers on Friday, the day following the funeral. They missed the visitation, along with the funeral. The arrangement was delivered mid service, after all guests were already seated in the church; not visible to any one attending the funeral, including the family. Following the service, I visited House of Flowers. They planned to discount the price to "wholesale" pricing and were dropping the delivery fee. Following a discussion, the flower shop refunded the total cost of the flowers. A major blunder...had I not traveled to the funeral who would have known that there was no delivery as planned and paid for?"

"I ordered flowers as a birthday present from their website. I spoke directly with management via phone when ordering and was reassured that it will look almost similar to the picture and that they would but in the flowers that I requested. Some of the flowers where turning brown, what I requested not to be in the bouquet were put in and to top it off the vase was only half full ( flowers only in the front not back of bouquet. ) I had ordered and paid for the deluxe with delivery. I was very disappointment and will use a different florist next time."

"I ordered flowers for Mothers Day. I spoke with the owner/manager and explained exactly what I would like for a arrangement. After receiving pictures from my mom I was in total shock. I spent 50.00 plus 5.99 delivery fee. Not only was it not what I asked for they were already dying. I contacted them and explained my concerns. I was offered 12.00 in refund or return the flowers for a refund of 34.99. I felt insulated that they would even ask for my mom to drive and return the flowers after she just underwent a recent knee surgery which the florist was aware of this. I decided to call it a wash and told them to keep all the money and I would not return as a customer. I don't know if it had anything to do with me being located in California and there wasn't much I could do being so far away. THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING!!!!"

They've been a staple in Sidney for a very long time and I can tell through the reliable customer service. Whether its a last minute thing or pre-planned event, I love that the workers will do all they can for every major flower holiday. I love the arrangements I get there, and this place is my go to. Try to order ahead of time, because the flowers go fast and you can have more options beyond what's in the cooler."
