"We love hiking at Schramm Park. The trails are easy to navigate and cleared. There are a few different routes you can take so it makes for a great, diverse day of hiking. We always love getting to the suspension bridge too!"
"Fun indoor education center, reading nook with art supplies, interactive educational prompts by each animal, sensory play, bird watching, touch tank... It goes on and on. Great place to rest, clean updated restroom, indoor and outdoor play area, great landscaping."
"I like going to Schramm park for the trail. There is a suspension bridge and a few other scenic areas on it. The trail I prefer isn't difficult and is about two miles. I usually take my dog, as the trail is wide and there is plenty of room. The park itself is clean, well shaded with plenty of picnic tables, benches and a restroom. There are fish to feed and usually ducks or geese hanging around. Also, a little playground for kids. It's a good place to spend a few hours."
"The trails were awesome. The main trails were wider, either packed dirt or gravel. There are hills and tree roots so the terrain varies. Lots of shade. The fish hatchery museum was not open but the area around it was interesting to look at. The geological site was pretty neat, too. Will definitely plan to visit again."
"Very nice park for short or long hike. Fish hatchery is pretty amazing and at the cost of $6 per car is a very fair price to go out and enjoy. There was some other camp sites that seemed to not be taken care of which if the park is to attract people should clean the tall weeds up. The river is just across the road and you can rent a kayak at Louisville for $30 or so. Fun place!! Outside that, highly recommend"
