"EMERGENCY ROOM wait time was over 3hrs. I’ve seen many people leave that’s been discharged but they have yet to call anyone to the back. It’s really ridiculous. I don’t know if they’re short staffed but it’s typically almost always like this. Then to proceed to the pharmacy and that wait time will be the same. So over 6 hours for ER then Pharmacy."
"I’m a military surgical tech. I was stationed at IACH between 2018-2022 I worked in the Operating Room and L&D. I came here to commend the staff and leadership in both the operating room and L&D. If you are a patient, the doctors are amazing. They truly care about ensuring the best care is administered to our service members and their families. I also gave birth to 2 children and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthing experience. I worked along side with the OB-GYNS and anesthesia but they treated me as if I was just a patient who was vulnerable and scared with the most patience, love, and respect and I couldn’t ask for more. The doctors that delivered my babies were Dr. Long who delivered my first and Dr. Harris-Baugh who delivered my second. The whole L&D team are amazing and IACH wants nothing less for its patients!"
"My daughter was seen at this ER tonight after nauseous, headache and dizziness symptoms following a high speed accident. She was treated terribly by her obese male nurse with a beard and dark black hair in the ER. He questioned why she wasn't seen the night before, and implied she was lying! I have worked in a trauma 1 hospital enough to know that symptoms from a concussion don't always present immediately. She waited over 5 hours, was never examined by a doctor and sent home with "R.I.C.E." on her discharged papers and told doctors can't diagnose concussions. Really?? This is completely wrong and the nurse should be ashamed and questioned as to whether he is even competent to diagnose and then lying to pts. My daughter will be contacting the pt advocate and making a formal complaint. And will seek care elsewhere."
"Doctors are careful team are usually really nice! However I noticed bumps and random bruising on my legs that caused a ton of pain. All they did was look at it, drew some labs, and sent me home without testing or even pain meds. I went back in 2 days later for more serious pain and more swelling that affected me to where I couldn't walk. They did an x-ray and sent me home again and told me I was pretty much being dramatic and gave ne a care sheet for "unknown pain." The next few days I noticed sloshing in my foot more swelling in my leg and really couldn't even bear to put weight on it. I went to another hospital where they gave me pain medication and ultrasound and they discovered a blood clot that wasn't getting picked up in my labs. I am now taking blood thinners since it gotten so bad. I just wish the hospital took me more seriously when I told them I knew something wasn't right."
"Amazing teams of doctors who truly care about patients. I am so glad to found this hospital. Very clean and sanitized everywhere. The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. They have a large parking lot and easy to get inside the building. Every entrances have a sanitizer and disposal face mask. A rest rooms are always keeping so clean. You can find a drinks and snacks vending machine everywhere. I recommend the hospital! Update: I just wanted to let you know that I have a TERRIBLE experience at the hospital recently. Physicians were always helpful, I don't have any complain about the physicians. I had to get a allergies and skin doctor appointment these few months. The one of receptionist was so rude attitude every time I went there! What's her problem is!! She always sat at the station 5. Every time I had to go through the receptionists after the check-in the machine, her attitude was awful! She always arrogant me and NEVER helpful. Another receptionist was ( she always sat at the station 8) she, always friendly and helpful. Also, she always smiling at patients.I had to make an appointment at the station 5 ( Ms Moore) receptionist, she made me an appointment. and I told her could you print out the appointment scheduled. But she refused to print out and she kept saying " Your appointment this!! “. I really don't understand her attitude was! I had to make sure that my appointment date. Sadly happen, the appointment was mistake date. I made sure to the my appointment date by verbal and wrote it down because she refused to printed out the paper. I wrote it down the my schedule then I went to the my appointment day, she said " why you coming to here today? You're appointment is not today. " . I told her that " my appointment is this time today. I made sure by verbal few times with you before. " She kept saying to me that " You mistake!! You agreed that your appointment is Monday. " She KEPT BLAME ON ME!!!! But Usually, another receptionist printed out the appointment schedule which is very kind of her. But the station 5 receptionist is never ever helping me at all!! What's wrong with her??? I don't like this feeling. I have a ill and I have to cure my illness. Why she kinda attacking me always. You guys have to something. I don't want she attacking other patients."
