The Georgetown Apartments

"I loved my stay at The Georgetown Apartments. I had terrific neighbors. I had a beautiful apartment. Very safe. Lots of peace and quiet. The pool is so very nice when it’s open in the summer months. The maintenance team is great. It has the best property management that I’ve ever encountered in an apartment complex. CJ does an excellent job of managing the property. I wish I could give this review more than 5 stars. You can’t go wrong at The Georgetown."

"My wife and I moved to Lincoln recently and found a few properties with the help of some family prior to moving. What sold us on The Georgetown was our interaction with the Property Manager C.J. He has been extremely professional and attentive to any request or concerns that we may have as well as the property itself is well cared for. The community feels safe and the other tenants are either friendly or keep to themselves. The location is just a walk away from Holms Lake and just within a comfortable distance from downtown. We have been content with out unit."

"I had an awesome 2-3 years at The Georgetown! Management is so great, the pool is newly redone, and if I ever needed help with my unit, it was fixed or addressed pretty quickly. Super close to Holmes Lake too. Really easy to submit maintenance requests. I can’t stress enough how good the management is. Definitely recommend!"

"My husband and I lived here for almost 2 years and have seen the property make some positive changes recently! The new property manager, CJ, is fantastic. He took care of anything we needed as well as always greeted us and knew us by name. They recently renovated the hallways from top to bottom and you can see the company making other renovations throughout the property. We did not have a dog, but the property is very dog friendly and allows bigger dogs. They were also very fair and timely with returning out deposit. Overall, our apartment was affordable, had enough closet space, good water pressure, a clean porch, great storage closet downstairs, and had a gas fireplace that we loved! It wasn't a luxury apartment by any means, but it fit our needs. The big downside to the apartment complex is that the parking lot is in rough shape due to severe potholes and disappearing paint lines that we were told would be painted last year. The workout room was nice and open 24/7, but you are unable to run on the treadmill due to the condition it is in. There are a variety of weights, a weight machine, bike, and elliptical that are in good shape though! The washers and dryers in the basement also need to be replaced. We did laundry a few times there and every time our clothes smelled like mold and the dryer took multiple cycles. We had better luck at a local laundry mat near by. Keep in mind, these are all "fixable" issues that have the ability to be resolved. I would recommend this apartment to future residents especially seeing how it is moving in a positive direction and knowing the property manager, as well as other staff, are friendly and easy to work with."

"Lived here for a year with my 2 yr old. We never had a bad experience. Joanna is probably the best property manager I've ever dealt with. She's honest, listens and is respectful. She would greet my daughter, dog and myself every time we saw her. The maintenance guys were always helpful and polite. I loved my building and my neighbors. It was a perfect safe haven for a single mom to get back on her feet. Would recommend it to anyone."
