Hillside Court - Davenport St.

"Lovely solid brick apartments with a vintage flair that were built in 1944 to house military personnel. The apartments have refinished wood floors. Black & white tiles located in the kitchen and bathroom give it a coziness and old-timey feeling. My bedroom has carpet but I wish it had a wood floor. The carpet is nice, though. I’m just not a fan of carpet, so I’m glad it’s only in one room. I have a one-bedroom and am pleased with the size. The closet space is something to brag about! Lots of room for storage within the walls of your apartment...and if that’s not enough, they offer storage space in the basement. The basement is also where the shared laundry services are. The grounds feature a gorgeous courtyard with pretty evergreen trees and old-fashioned lamp posts. When it snows, it feels like a winter wonderland in the courtyard. There is also ample off-street parking. Hillside Court offers pet-friendly living with a fenced-in area for your fur babies to have fun. Also, the grounds are kept clean from pet “debris,” as it has Poo Prints (a dna regulating system) that discourages leaving waste behind. There is a fine for pet waste, so this helps to hinder any laziness in picking up after your pet. It is also a smoke-free community, and I’ve never experienced any cigarette smells within my complex. Thank goodness! The staff communicates very well and sends emails on a regular basis to keep tenants informed and up-to-date. My dishwasher stopped working and maintenance looked at it the next day. The day after that, they installed a new dishwasher. I’ve read reviews for other apartments and one of the main complaints seems to be lack of communication. This has never been an issue at all with Round Hill Pacific at Hillside Court and for that I am very grateful. I feel safe here and it is a quiet neighborhood for the most part. It’s also comforting to know that there are numerous parking lot lights and movement-lights on the side of the buildings. All in all, I have been content here at Hillside Court and am happy with the staff and their customer service and communication."
