"3rd annual review: So far my experience with the complex has somewhat improved. They have finally replaced my ac/furnace unit, the bathroom vents, and removed the dead tree from the back. The maintenance team has been doing a great job with my requests. The only thing so far is the amount of trash people leave out and dog wastes that the tenants fail to clean up after is disgusting. The hallways/foyers haven’t been cleaned in months. The trash bin situation where people dump mattresses and other furniture sometimes make it inaccessible to dispose trash. There’s work in progress needed but overall experience has been changed from a 1-star to 3-stars."
"Just started moving things into our apartment and have already seen roaches. The apartment is really dirty there’s literally mud in the cabinets as well as mold. Broken doors and blinds. We’ve been in the apartment for 2 weeks now and have not gotten anything fixed. The carpet stinks horrible like dog we’ve tried airing the apartment with no success of removing the smell. The bathtub is disgusting. No matter now good you clean it the mold stains are there. Also good luck finding a parking space. Theres never parking spaces available. People literally park on the street. The apartment hallways are disgusting. Also first floor is not first floor. So if you use a wheelchair or cant do stairs, stay away. We chose a “first floor” apartment and there are still stairs we need to take. Laundry room is creepy af. They told us it was on the same floor as our apartment. Lies you have to take ANOTHER set of stairs to get there. Update: They tried to steal our vehicles. Vehicles keep getting broken into even if doors are locked. Our neighbors told us it has happened multiple times to them. If you get a garage you’ll still get broken into. They conveniently don’t have security cameras yet they pay a towing company who keeps passing by day and night. Also we are getting charged a $150 fee to “clean” a carpet that was dirty when we moved in. We specifically wrote down everything that was wrong on the apartment, yet “everyone gets charged a carpet cleaning fee”. I bet they pocket the money. How are all these people getting charged because they left the apartment in “bad conditions”, yet when you move in they are disgusting? Keep out! Look elsewhere! This is not it!"
"Giving this place a star is really generous! Read the reviews! these people are not being dramatic this place should be last on your list! If on the list at all. When i was touring apartments i was told if i was approved the apartment would be “spiffed” , the carpets would be shampooed and everything would be wiped down . LIE . When i got in and started moving things in i smelled the horrible smells from a dog, my carpet cleaner got clogged multiple times from the extreme amount of dog hair ( i vacuumed twice before using the carpet cleaner and it’s designed for pets ) dog food behind the stove and refrigerator, this is just day one. Not even a week after i move in there’s these gigantic roaches , i was told to call them each week and have them come spray since you’re paying for pest control each month anyways so i do. After week 2 i was told to stop calling because the solution draws them out and kills them so i’ll keep seeing them for the next 3 weeks but after that they should be gone. That was incorrect. Then let’s talk about how i was told by the property manager that i can get internet anywhere it doesn’t have to be cox, LIE #2. I have 3 coax outlets in my apartment, only one of them was connected to a source which is ON THE CEILING IN THE LIVING ROOM i talked to the office about this and they kept telling me nothing was wrong with them. I worked from home so i missed work and had to have cox come out and take a look to be able to find out the 2 conveniently placed coax outlets weren’t connected to anything jus there for decor i guess. Next, i had a neighbor throwing food outside my window the office didn’t care they just told me “ that doesn’t sound like anything they would do so i’m not sure what you want us to do “. Maintenance will tell you cars have gotten broken into over 26 times and he told me this MONTHS ago but it happens at LEAST once a week and the property refuses to get cameras because it hasn’t “ occurred “ enough times for extended measures to be taken. All in all, go somewhere else ! Do not give this company and especially Club of Highland Park any of your hard earned money they by far do NOT deserve it. Laundry? forget it they have 2 washers and 2 dryers for $2.00 EACH and my whole time being here at least one has been “ out of order “ and the list goes on."
"They lost nearly 3k of our rent. When I tried to ask what happened, no one could give me any reason as to how something like this could happen. Saying a scan of the check was misplaced. This was not the first time something like this happened either. Waiving our late fees was the least they could have done. They were unhelpful when we tried to tell them that they’ve had the check the whole time and didn’t even try to look for them until the 4th time we called them back. This was the most incompetent office I’ve ever dealt with. DO BETTER."
"I researched apartments for awhile in Omaha, hoping to find one that would be a good first apartment after living with my parents. In my research, I was told to “avoid the Lund Management.” Naive me thought “it will be fine, I can give them the benefit of the doubt.” I’m here to tell you it was very very bad. Two weeks after moving in, I felt unsafe and had sent in complaints for the people above me for absolutely nothing to be done. The building also did not have secured access, both front and back doors were unlocked/broken when I moved in. I had to ASK for the doors to be locked. Because of how unsafe it was, I had to leave. It’s sad that they would keep around bad tenants at the cost of good tenants. Some may have a better experience, but I truly did not. Do your research, listen to my advice. Avoid this apartment complex and find a better place to live."
