"I recently connected with Great Plains Realty to help an employee relocate for work. It was a seamless and great experience and their team is fantastic."

"We used Nelson Jett to represent us as sellers and our buyers used DeeJay January Jackson as buyers. We ended up homeless living in a motel with our dog and two cats for almost a week because our buyers didn't close on the agreed upon date. They blamed the appraiser for not having documents completed in a timely matter, but I received emails proving that they were aware that the buyers were not going to be able to close on the agreed upon date. We didn't receive any kind of communication to let us know and ended up paying all kinds of extra fees for our belongings to sit on U-Haul trucks as well as extra expenses for the motel and food. I asked Great Plains Realty to reimburse us for these extra expenses via certified mail to which I received no reply. I plan to file a complaint with the Nebraska Realtors Association, the Real Estate Commission and file a claim in small claims court. I expected a much better experience for the $13,145 commission they received and I certainly wouldn't recommend them when selling or purchasing a home."

This agency consistently ignored us and missed deadlines. Then when we attempted to speak with the broker regarding the issues, we were told we were the ones being unreasonable. Buying a house and having a newborn baby on the way did not matter to anyone that we spoke with at this agency and we were required to live elsewhere after our house sold before moving into the new home. This was an effect of negligence and deliberate disregard for other people. Hope this prevents any other families from having these issues as well."
