"Only speaking from my experience using Laura as my attorney. Very slow to return calls, told me to send her any information in regards to my case to her and then "loses" all of it. Would continuously extend the period of time we needed to wait for court by 6 months each court date making it continued for over a year and a half. Ultimately after I pay this lawyer to protect my rights and she loses everything in regards to it, decide to settle in mediation. So during this mediation process we discussed things needing to be put in place to correct the issue that are to correct the problems that are in play, I watch Laura write them down, and feel we have come to a solution. Then I have problems getting a hard copy of the order, I go talk to a different lawyer in which he downloads my copy tells me that some very important details that we discussed in mediation that I watched my paid attorney write down was left out. Continuously reached out to see if there was a way to correct this issue with no response back, I've been patient giving plenty of time and have been dealing with these issues continuously since mediation over a year ago. Update... Laura has yet to return any of my messages in regards to my custody order that she intentionally chose to leave out the things that she agreed to put in. In mediation I was told that she was going to put those things into the order than have me review the order before signing, an d that's not how things we're done it was just throwing together haphazardly and then signed by the judge. She didn't communicate with me about obtaining my copies of all the things that I sent her, she would not respond to any questions regarding why she did these things and why she left so much things out of the order, she only responded to the copies because she's legally obligated to, I think lawyers are legally obligated to also not misrepresent there clients also. Anyway I go through these copies, and apparently every copy of this custody order that was written up is contradictory to each other in the wording, but I can't even get this lawyer I paid thousands of dollars to protect my rights as a father to explain to me as to why she did such a terrible job. Its memorial weekend as of now and my kid's mom is so comfortable breaking the order that she will just steal my custody time, drop my son off somewhere, and then go out and do things without my son leaving him places not telling me where he's at so that I can pick him up because it's my time, and the reason that those things are happening is because of this lawyer choosing to take my money and disregard my rights as a father for absolutely no reason, in my opinion the only thing I can think of is she got mad that I told her to do her job after "she had accidentally Lost" all the evidence that I had sent and a recording that would have given me one hundred percent full custody. Laura you are supposed to be a professional attorney you need to correct this order that you fouled up it is becoming an extremely detrimental thing to everybody involved and it's because of your unprofessionalism you really should correct it because it is the right thing do."
