"This lab does NOT meet the Children’s Hospital gold standard. If you need labs done by Children’s make the drive to Omaha. I let the Phlebotomist know that my daughter is a hard stick and to check both arms. She checked one and I could tell immediately when she poked it would not be successful yet she kept moving the needle while my daughter winced in pain trying to get it. When I told her we were done she responded with ‘I didn’t know I would only get one chance.’ You do when you don’t listen to the patient and do all that you can to make the first try successful."
