"Unless you want to do your own follow ups, call 900 times and not get any call backs, wait 3 months for a prior authorization to actually be submitted, and front staff to call you “new girl”….don’t go to this facility. Dr. Kocian is good but her nurse practitioner and the support staff ruin the experience and make you feel like a burden. Our family will be looking elsewhere for a GP."

"Not sure what happened with the 1 and 2 star ratings, but Lynn Kocian, PA-C is the best "doctor" I have ever seen in my 54 years on this earth. Not only does she take an incredible amount of time getting to know her patients, but she is also personable and pleasant - something missing with most doctors. The information provided by the lab she uses for blood work is incredibly comprehensive and the cornerstone of a custom-tailored treatment plan that takes into account the patient's genetics as well as their overall health. Lynn spent nearly 45 minutes with me going over my labs, making notes on the paperwork and developing a mutually agreed-upon treatment plan. Too many doctors just throw pills at common conditions without truly understanding what is at the root of those conditions and what changes to lifestyle might be as beneficial as pills without the side effects."

"The wait was worth it! Never has a provider done such a thorough exam and took the time to explain my lab results with great detail. None of them have ever used their phone to look up anything. And as far as the computer? They're all electronic med records so of course they have to be on the computer as they are in your chart note documenting symptoms, treatment, and prescribing or refilling your meds. I'd rather wait if need be in order to get such quality care that I've not had with previous providers. If you want quality, you get what you patiently wait for. And the charges? Standard for any clinic and probably less than another doc would charge for a 10 minute visit. So if you want quality care, and not a doc in a box, then I highly recommend Gretna Family Health. Best clinic ever!"
