Reviews of Great Plains Health Infectious Disease
"Great staff. Jennifer, Liann, and Dr Frietas are all very personable and genuinely care. Highly recommend them to anyone."
"The Staff was very kind and answered my questions whenever I needed to know anything. Awesome help!"
"A very good visit. Dr. Freitas was very thorough and explained all the details associated with the infection and getting it healthy. Also his nurse, Stephanie, was very personable and helpful as well."
"Without a doubt the best care I could have ever received. The team there was amazing thank all of you very much"
"I had heard great things about Dr. Freitas and was hopeful he would help my elderly mother with an ongoing UTI that was worsening. She was referred to him with positive cultures from her primary Dr. for IV antibiotics. She has had UTIs before and her main symptom is always confustion. I was shocked when she was sent home with nothing and was told to not even continue the oral antibiotics her primary Dr. had prescribed her (!) and to drink more water to rehydrate. She continued to worsen and I called his office and talked to a PA who finally prescribed augmentin, the same oral drug she had already been on. The next day she was admitted to the hospital, via ER, with sepsis and spent seven days at GPH and required IV antibiotics based on a culture to clear her urinary tract infection. Very disappointed in the care she received or actually, did not receive from Great Plains Health Infectious Diseases at her appointment and very, very sad the condition she is in now."
