"I recommend Mitchell Valley Animal Clinic off Highway 26 east of Mitchell, Nebraska. After 2 weeks without a reply from a Torrington veterinary clinic, I emailed the Mitchell Valley Animal Hospital. I received an immediate reply. My indoor cat was spraying everything I touched and decided to have him neutered. There was a wait for an appointment. We arrived early in the morning to a friendly welcome, questions about the cat's health and demeanor, and assured he would be taken care of for the day. A short time later I received a text message about a condition the doctor discovered, gave recommendations, and asked what I wanted to do. At the end of the day, my cat had been well cared for and the reception staff was great answering questions about his after care. The cost was well in line with my expectations, the medical care and front office staff superb, and my cat is doing much better now that he's been fixed."

"Our new dog and his humans felt warmly welcomed. We came in on a complimentary wellness check as part of their agreement with the Panhandle Humane Society. Since he was only a few days in from being shelter adopted, he was quite active and curious. They brought us into an exam room right away so he wouldn't bother the other more-trained dog in the waiting room. Dr Pieper seemed very good with him and gave us ample time to answer our questions. It was a simple new patient exam so we can't speak to how they are with more complex cases... but so far so good."
