"The doctors don't listen to you and don't tell you that they have changed your meds. For example, stopping something that was actually helpful and not telling me why. Not refilling medications before you run out leading you with the responsibility of contact ing the pharmacy and then you are out of something that causes serious withdrawal symptoms until the order gets called in and gets delivered. They don't care if it means that you end up in the er because you're so sick."
"The psychiatrist I see is fine, the problem I have is with the staff. They are insensitive, rude and have treated me so dismissively. Trying to do anything or even correctly is nearly impossible. Jennifer specifically has been a nightmare to deal with. Messed up on a couple things. I can’t go too much into it but I can tell you that it involved me trying to have to explain her mistake to my HR dept. It was embarrassing and caused a lot more trouble than needed especially when it could have easily been fixed but she refused to correct it. You will have to deal with Jennifer for almost anything you need if you contact the office or message your psychiatrist. It's ironic that you go there for mental health issues and get treated so poorly that you actually feel worse off by the place that should be helping you. I’m seeing someone else now just because of staff. I know someone else going to this office too and they just found someone else and said it was because of the staff. On a serious note, someone can have a good work ethic but if they’re doing customer service at a psychiatric office as well, they need patience, understanding and just be empathetic overall. Just be nice to patients who are going through a difficult time. It is possible people assisting can make a 5 star office to a 1 star office. I know sometimes workers have a bad day but if it happens consistently, they may not be in the right position. You may be overwhelmed and overworked. I am too, but I don’t treat people like that. The new office I go to is full of friendly and competent staff. No issues with medications or communication. Everyone is nice!"
"I would give them 0 stars if possible. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS. They sent my family member home when they were in clear mental distress. They knew how hard we worked to get that family member to ask for help too. I’ve never been so upset! WORTHLESS! Psychiatrist didn’t even come visit."
"I seen dr Lu Wang. She was lovely! She sat and listened to me as I explained issues and trauma along with how I was feeling, thoroughly answered my questions, and felt very genuine. She worked with me to create a plan for healing and improving my health and life in a comfortable and manageable way. I will definitely be back!!"
"And no, I will not call to discuss this further... It all started out decent, but they kept letting me down slowly. Whether it's the receptionist ignoring me as though I'm not able to call my insurance company and get my medication. Then they practice old school techniques, and I was negative for my mediciation based on their faulty urine analysis or how I metabolize it multiple times. After the test, I received a message with him saying he can no longer prescribe my medication! My life threatening medication. They drop it'd despite that we're making good progress with tapering off of it. My therapist found a research paper explaining that not all show up in urine tests, yet the lab techs aren't trained enough to do this or simply ask for a request. I only get a message saying I can no longer prescribe this to you. I didn't think I was going to be able to pick up my last script and panicked and stayed awake for 36 hours and honestly cried for hours. I thought I could die in a week fearing the worst as they play these mind games with someone who has severe anxiety. Fortunately, I actually got the prescription a few days later and immediately started looking for someone who cares but that's not easy. I can't face the people at Bryan Psychiatry anymore. Do these people even know what they're doing or how it affects people? Me, my family, and friends are now worried I might become unstable due to their incompetence. Thanks but no thanks. I'm trying my best, and you're not helping."
