"I have been going to CHD for years to help support the students gain skills that would one day support themselves. I have never been disappointed. I encourage all to support these students when the opportunity arises. They accept walk ins, but if possible make an appointment."
"*20th Dec 2023, To reply to the owner, there no such person called “Tim” there. Unfriendly, unhelpful receptionist sitting there. the student cut my hair was seriously doing the cutting, the result was ok, but can easliy do a better job. Reluctant to do a good job. Do I pay too little? 10$ for a cut. Ill intention, tricky. Stupid students with tricky strategies in cutting hair. Being there twice (now 4 times) and same mistakes (or the same stupid stragies ). I was wondering how this student gets customers return to him again? He only thinks “ I need to be paid more” third time there, a junior student and later instructor came to instruct. students were not taught to be a perfectionist, students were taught to do a so so mediorce job. DO they really not know how to cut? Look around of these students' hair. I found that some of their own hair were very neat, stylish and detail cut, very nice. When they do customers, they do a bad job! The students may be ncie or.... But I come here is for a reasonable good hair cut, no matter how nice are the studens do not count. The keypoint is "cut my hair good, details, neat!. *"
"Nice people to work with. Always a good experience a little patience is needed as these are students in training. Affordably priced for children with the first haircut all the way through to seniors. Walk-ins are welcome but it's always a good idea to have an appointment ahead of time."
"Can only speak for nail services: if you get a student named Pravin or Parvin R. Expect a very subpar manicure. I understand it’s students, but genuinely I could’ve done a better job at home. She missed the sides, there’s bubbles, and I have so much paint on my skin, I’m not even sure how to get it off. On top of that she forgot the topcoat, when I reminded her she specifically asked me if I’m sure and that she doesn’t think so, until examining my nails and saying oh yes, you’re right, and when she wanted me to take my hand out of the light machine, instead of using words, she would grant or say the noise “mmm” indicating I should take my hand out? She said a total of maybe five words to me. If you want to go there to use the services, definitely look into who your nail technician is going to be! She took the longest of the three, and did the worst job. Not sure if this is the kind of service that they’re teaching their students to give, but I was shocked! Nothing speaks louder than the pictures below!"
