"My husband and I attempted to check in to this hotel last week but no one was at the front desk for hours! We waited around and ended up leaving and had to waste gas for 4-5 hours and still no one came up. It was very eerie… We were exhausted from our 12 hour road trip and needed to sign into our reservation but couldn’t so we stayed in another hotel nearby. Is this the way this location conducts a business? What a shame. Are you guys even in business??"
"We stayed here last night while visiting family. The front desk was never staffed when we approached and the wait for service ranged from 1-5 minutes. Staff was helpful when they finally showed up. There was 1 luggage cart which had a broken wheel so was unusable. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but my husband would have appreciated a chair or a small couch (there was plenty of room). He said the breakfast was good. The pool was closed, with an offer of a pool at a nearby hotel, so apparently an ongoing issue?"
"One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Marriott. Very dissappointed. Showed up at airport after long week of work on a Friday night around 830p. Called hotel for shuttle pickup. First attempt called and receptionist refused pickup even though website promises airport shuttle pickup. I asked to speak with manager Quanita. She wouldn’t speak with me but her front desk person that was caught in the middle says her response was “go find another hotel”. I asked again to speak with her to see if they could send a cab. The front desk response was the manager says she’s “off duty” and can’t help right now. There was zero sensitivity or compassion or willingness to find a solution. Ultimately the wonderful airport staff helped me organize a cab. I finally get to hotel. After arriving and settling in I attempt to finish some work emails but WiFi is not working. The poor reception desk person tried to help but was unsuccessful. Finally I gave up. In the morning the other manager Beth took the time to listen and was very friendly. At the end of the day I understand you may be short handed or unable to provide a promised service but the response and abandonment was unacceptable. Furthermore so far there has been no attempt to at least rectify the situation or offer to pay for my cab or refund part of my stay. Nothing. I stay at Marriotts all the time for business but this has been by far the worst service and treatment I have recieved at their hotels."
"Our stay was made so much better due to front desk employee Beth! She was so welcoming and went out of her way to answer questions, recommend options for dinner, and was just a nice person. She is definitely an asset!!!"
"We scheduled a stay at the Lincoln Airport Fairfield Inn this past weekend. The check-in was handled in an efficient & friendly manner by Quanetta. When we got into our room there was a soiled couch and a missing remote for one of the TVs, so we were reassigned to another room. That room was missing a TV & washcloths, however, team member Beth promptly brought up a replacement TV and made sure everything else was fine. The room was clean, and quiet, and met our needs. Nice hotel, standard breakfast in the morning, free parking, overall good stay!! My rating for the hotel stay after arriving in Lincoln =4/5. **NOTE": regarding Marriott's cancellation policy----due to medical status, we actually tried to cancel this reservation 30 hours ahead of our stay. However, since it was inside the 48-hour "free" cancellation window, the hotel would not flex their policy at all, thus, they were charging us for the room whether we stayed there or not. We have been Marriott Rewards Members for over 30 years and have never asked for special consideration regarding a reservation. A bit of flexibility for long-standing customers obviously is not important to the local Marriott team! Policies over customer service/retention! My rating prior to check-in in Lincoln = 0/5."
