Reviews of Arthritis Center Of Nebraska
"I don’t like to leave negative reviews for any business, but the whole experience was so terrible, I just have to let others know what to expect. The pre-appointment paperwork was excessive and VERY repetitive. If you have arthritis in your hands, plan on having help to fill it out. They scheduled 1 hour for blood work and X-rays, followed by 1 hour with the doctor. I brought my own X-rays so after a quick blood draw, I sat in the waiting room for the rest of the first hour until I saw the doctor. Once I saw the doctor, he was more concerned about telling me about his life, kids and hobbies than talking about my arthritis. The time with the doctor took well over an hour, but very little of it was about arthritis. Most of the appointment was just the doctor telling me about his kids, where they live, their jobs, etc. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for over $700, including a charge for a PROLONGED examination! Not only did they waste my time, but they also want me to pay extra for it! The billing folks were less than helpful and told me I was being billed for the time the doctor spent looking at my bloodwork (which was all normal, so not much to see). All I got from this appointment was a suggestion for some OTC vitamins to try. I came to them desperate for help with my arthritis, but they just wasted my time and money."
"Going to a doctor's appointment is not something I go to and think - that was a great experience. But that was exactly how I felt leaving the Arthritis Center of Nebraska. Even scheduling my appointment left me with a happy feeling as I felt the person I was talking to really cared about a time that would work best for me. That is the feeling I got from every person without exception from when I checked in for my appointment, to getting my blood work done, to the nurse I saw before I saw the doctor and then the doctor. I met with Dr. Churchill. I had seen Dr. Churchill one time about 8 years ago. Dr. Churchill listened thoughtfully and respectfully when I described what was going on with me. He unhurriedly analyzed the many reports and tests that had been forwarded and compared them to tests that had been run in 2015. He explained everything and took time for my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Churchill for his experience, knowledge and true concern for my as his patient and the Arthritis Center of Nebraska, staffed by a joyful and highly efficient team."
"I had a great experience from the minute I arrived until I left. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Lab and x-ray personnel were very friendly too. Dr. Churchville was very thorough and even read the forms I had to fill out. He was very friendly and informative!"
"I had a blood test and my primary doctor wanted me to see a Rheumatologists just to be safe and check it out. Good experience. The person who answered the phone was nice. The nurse took a long time with me to review all my records - I don't think I have ever had a nurse review my records in so much detail. I appreciate that they want us to bring a lot of records so they can see what has been done. And the doctor took time with me. If I ever need a Rheumatologist, they will be who I call."
"I was referred to a rheumatologist by my PCP and was unable to get into one in Grand Island for 4 months. The Arthritis Center got me in within a few weeks. The appoinment was well managed, the process was smooth, and myconsultation with Dr. Chatwell went fantastic. He was very personable and took his time to explain things very well."
