"I used to love this place until I looked at my bank statement. I was charged $300. I called them and was told I was being charged for damaged sheets. I asked how were they damaged. They stated that there was a stain they couldn't remove from their comforter with bleach. Their comforters are colored red. I asked if they had pictures and they said yes. I asked for them to email them and they refused. This hotel is engaging in questionable and unethical behavior."

"super nice folks run this place! Wifi is a bit slow, rooms are small but bathroom is quite nice! Central air heats the place in the winter so it’s nice and warm. A good stopping place foe the night"

"I made a reservation through Priceline… The hotel receptionist declined my card and marked it as invalid even though I paid with a credit card. The reason why opted to get this hotel was because the reviews were so good apparently LATINOS ARE NOT WELCOMED HERE. I’m just passing through and even though I travel alot whenever I pass by here I’m not spending my money here so if your Hispanic or a Mexican descendant Husker don’t want you here. Anyways I drove a little more to the next hotel and they accepted my credit card without any problem. Americas best value is not as racist as the husker hotel. I was welcomed here without any problems"

"this was such a pleasant stay. great value for money, very clean, comfortable beds, great service. the only negative is that it is a bit of a drive from the interstate, but everything else is fantastic"

"Would def bring my family again. Cozy place in town, family owned motel like the old days. Clean. Cute landscaping and fountain make it inviting. Across from convenience store if you forgot anything. Felt safe. Also very affordable. They tick every box. Note that heating/air is centrally controlled, but you can adjust vents/windows in your room. Bathroom could use a couple hooks on the wall. That’s about my only minor gripe. No sign of the fabled muffins, but then again I didn’t ask."
