North Platte Inn and Suites

"Me and my husband checked in late night (3/2/24) after driving all day (14 hours). My husband chose this place as it was east on and off from the freeway. Initially we were assigned room 220 but the key/door did not work. We were moved to room 120 where we discovered bed bugs. LOTS of them. Both full sized and small (the tiny red ones that hadn’t matured yet). We notified the front desk of this but did not offer to compensate further for the lack of cleanliness. Our third part booking platform refunded us. It is a week later and I’m covered in bed bug bites all over the left side of my body. I did add photos of my shoulder and arm for proof (not that I needed that as there are reviews dating 2 years back regarding the bed bug issue). The bites go all the way down my left side from my rib cage to my left knee."

"Checked in at 2am with no warning of what we would be experiencing at 9am. We woke up to a loud saw right outside our window. This is the motel we normally stay at traveling through Nebraska because the rooms are nice and affordable. Because of this with no warning at all we will take our business elsewhere. When we contacted the front desk about this issue, we were told pretty much to deal with it."

"The check-in girl was very nice. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The location is ok for nearby places to eat, but horrible for road noise. It was very loud in the evening, was quiet during the middle of the night, then got noisy again in early morning. My wife couldn't get to sleep because of the noisy fan on the heater in the room. I slept well except for her waking me up to tell me that she couldn't sleep. We walked to a great Italian place about a half mile away and walked back in the dark. I haven't been walking in that neighborhood before but didn't feel the slightest bit threatened by anything. Lots of traffic though."

"This was a very pleasant surprise! The rooms are clean. Samuel at the front desk was an absolute help in all of my questions and problems and always had a smile. We chose the 2 queen bed full kitchen and the rate was very respectable. I only had one area I wasn’t so happy with. The full kitchen didn’t have any pots, pans, dishes, glasses or silverware. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Great front desk person. I ended up in a room where the deadbolt wouldn't lock so had to move rooms and was quick, easy and a great night's sleep. Call the front desk to book a room and you won't pay a deposit."
