"The owner is very accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun. Price is a bit high for amenities provided. However, this place was open, unlike many others. March 2024. There was plenty of space for our miniature to run around, with the leash on. I would come here again."
"To expensive for what it is which is a parking lot. NO amenities at all. If it rains the circle drive is a mud pit. Nice place to walk the dog."
"We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been a great experience. The grounds are well kept and the pads are nice and level. The owner is always friendly and talkative and greets you with a handshake. The location is easy to access. If I were to offer any negative comment, it would be that there is some traffic/truck noise, and some railroad noise since there is a railroad yard in the area, but it’s not really noticeable inside. It’s so easy to just call ahead and let them know you’re coming and about what time and they’ll meet you out in the driveway and talk about what spot will work best for you. A big plus is that the owner lives on site and the RV sites are essentially in their back yard."
"Very nice owner and clean camp ground. Great flat pads with full hookups. Unfortunately we were in a tear drop camper. The price was too high with no bathroom facility, picnic table, and area was noisy (trains and highway)."
"We stayed at the campground for 3 months for work. It's a mostly peaceful campground on the edge of town and right off the highway. With it being on the highway, cars can be loud. It's also close to the rail yard and you can hear carts being put together sometimes. The sites look like they are back in but he'll allow you to go through the grass to pull through if your camper is long. All gravel throughout the park. Sites are an ok size but most of them are buddy sites. Well shaded. Wifi is available for free but doesn't work that well. There are no facilities on site. For the nightly price ($62 as of 2023), it's pricey for no facilities. No tables provided. For the options in Alliance, this is the better campground. Howard is the owner and lives on site but his sons also help. Very nice people!"
