Dickey's Barbecue Pit

"The food wasn't good. Ribs tasted oven cooked at best, Coleslaw was just cabbage in a cup, Green beans were as boring and bland. Brisket was good!! The barbecue sauce was runny & waterery! It's high priced for what you get, but so is everything in this world!"

"Qe have visited this Dickeys many man times and the last visit was very disappointing. The time before the ice cream machine was broken but this time (several months later) it was gone. The pop machine was out of carbonation and they no longer had lids for the big yellow cups. They were also out of those cups. No waffle fries. The meat was good and although they did not have waffle fries anymore the sides were good. Different rolls thn the standard Dickeys has but we decided we won't go back. Our bill was close to $100 and we didn't get enough sides with the XL family pack to feed everyone. Not worth the money for sure. The manager was trying to keep everyone happy but one customer left and left their food when they saw the pop machine was broken."

"*UPDATE* They asked me to email them about my experience and I did twice I never heard back from them!!! I have a really hard time giving this place a bad review but this trip was very disappointing. The smell of BBQ is still amazing but it stopped there the staff although nice was less than impressive. First thing was the young man asking if the rack of rib looked cooked to me or not. I stated it did not it was very very pink still I suggested to use a meat thermometer since it wasn’t cooked as long as they normally do. Instead of using that he went ahead and cut a piece of and decided it wasn’t done because of how chewy it was. We then were charged wrong for our meal and the chicken was old very old. The rest tasted pretty good but not what it use to be. It all tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for a long time. Root beer was out and never was replaced, the lemonade smelled like it had been fermented and tasted absolutely horrible. Overall this was very very disappointing we love Dickey’s and the food and service is usually good but this location seems to have lost its quality and standards. Hope it gets turned around. Oh to really top it all off one young man was wearing flip flops and socks behind the counter never in my life I have seen that at and place that serves food of any kind"

"First time - first impression. When we walked in we were welcomed by the smell of hickory smoke. Great start. Took us a minute to see that it is like a fast-food style ordering. Ordering was easy. Staff was extremely patient with us noobs. Loose meat is chopped style. Ribs were my favorite here. Fries are waffle style - yum. Foundation drink self-service. Good place for a fast drive thru and go BBQ fix. ...and they do have a drive thru."
