"Since moving to the Midwest, we've struggled to find good, authentic Mexican food. While traveling back to Iowa, we took a small detour off the I-80 in search of a place for lunch. The area is sparsely populated, and weren't certain we'd find a place to eat, but pleasantly surprised to find Luna Azul. The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant new and clean. Beautiful artwork. Ordered a side of guacamole for our chips, and hubby said it is the best he's ever had (and being SoCal transplants, hes had plenty of guacamolein his day)! Our entrées were wonderful; served hot, seasoned well. Hubby said he'd consider relocating to this area just to enjoy thus wonderful, authentic Mexican food!"
"Good food! Quick and friendly service each time we come. Will continue to come back"
"This place is AMAZING! I frequent Chuys in Fremont and am obsessed so I thought I’d give Luna Azul a shot. I’m so impressed! The artwork on the wall is gorgeous, the service is kickass and the food is to die for!!!! I will be back. Now that you are in Wahoo, Fremont and Ashland it’s time to open one in Valley ;) As you can see, I had no leftovers food is THAT good!"
"Very attentive staff. Food was well prepared and was certainly better than some of the other semi-local establishments. Shrimp Ceviche was very good and fresh. Best we've had in a while. I had the Molcajete, and it was very good as well. The Chorizo was also great. Only downside was that they've not gotten their Liquor License yet, but we were told it was coming soon... We will certainly be returning in the near future!"
