"Took a very long time to receive our food, but everything was super good! Love that they brought Village Inn back to lincoln."
"The food is always fantastic at this location! I would have given a higher rating, if it weren't for the service we received. Our waitress, Morgan, did not ask how our food was or if we needed anything - just handed us the bill during our meal. We did, in fact, need some things, like syrup for pancakes and hot sauce for eggs/hash browns. And we were wanting dessert as well, which then prompted another bill to be given later (before our dessert was served) and as we headed to the counter to pay, it was then told to us that we would normally be paying at the table. So, food was great (minus syrup and other condiments that would've made it more enjoyable), and other tables - with other waitresses - seemed to have great service."
"Oh my gosh, our server was awesome. She was so personable and we absolutely loved it. Love getting those servers. Food was great and quick as always! Seating was fast even as busy as they were. Always a good experience with this Village Inn. Highly recommend!"
"The upgraded atmosphere was welcoming. Our server was quick and efficient. The hashbrowns were a bit overcooked and not what I was hoping for. Hashbrowns and pancakes from VI are the best things I look forward to and they didn't hit the spot today. The chicken fried steak was good, but I feel like it looked smaller than it did in the past. Our other order was the smother burrito with pork rated a 7/10. Village Inn menu items have always had a nostalgia for me, so some of the menu changes are just too much for me."
"Stopped in Saturday 1030a with my wife and 2 kids. The place was very busy. We had tickets at a nearby movie theater for 1130a. They did a good job... got us in and out. I had a turkey club sandwich with side salad. One of my kids had Mac n cheese with hashbrowns. My wife and younger daughter split country fried steak breakfast with eggs and pancakes. The food was good. The speed of service was great considering how busy they were and our time schedule. The staff were polite and professional. The price was more than reasonable. Overall a great experience. Good job Village Inn."
