"Loved everything about this place! The decor was very interesting. The word baroque came to mind. We did have to wait to get a table, about 25 minutes. The menu is extensive. My son ordered the stuffed waffle and said it was delicious! I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was tender and well seasoned. The hashbrowns were crispy. My over easy eggs were cooked perfectly! A meal for 2 was less than $30. We will definitely go back next time my family is in Lincoln."
"Great place to go with family and friends! The food way amazing and there was a large menu to chose from, there's something for everyone here! I personally had stuffed waffle with cinnamon and maple and it was the bomb! Our waitress was also super friendly and peppy, the right kind of energy I need to start my day off right! We did wait a while for our food but our server made it up to us by bringing out a homemade cinnamon roll which I realized after eating it that we would have totally missed out if we didn't get one. I'll definitely be returning here soon and I won't forget the cinnamon roll next time!!!"
"Cooks Cafe is a Bethany staple and is exactly One mile south of the old location. Located at 333 North Cotner Blvd Cooks Cafe is in my top five list for breakfast choices. Access is generally readily available with good parking and abundant seating both inside and out. The menu is broad and covers traditional favorites. Service is excellent, YES these folks care and do a fine job. Prices are more than fair. A coffee/Ice Cream shop appears to be in the works and is to be adjacent to Cook’s Cafe. What more could anyone ask for!!!!"
"I had the Sunny Way breakfast sandwich, it was excellent! Perfectly cooked bacon, eggs, and home fries (home fries were a little well done, but tasted great). This is a cozy spot and great for a full breakfast experience. The coffee is decent, my only critique is the cutlery - its flimsy and I bent my fork, minor issue but worth mentioning."
"Interesting decor for a Cafe, but I like it. Sure beats the stark white, sterile atmosphere of ordinary cafes. I wish I had taken a pic of the walls but I was liking the floor. Busy place & popular with the locals. Great service. The pancakes tasted good but were a little tough to cut as the underside caramelized. (Only reason for 4 star & not 5) I ordered eggs over medium (soft but not to runny). RARELY do I find a place that can cook them this way. Usually I end up with "dippy" & not medium as asked. BUT this place cooked them PERFECTLY! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Good bacon & fresh fruit, not that canned stuff. My only complaint is there were to many flies. (1 star deduction) Great place for breakfast & likely lunch, it's a pretty expansive menu. I'd recommend this place."
