Florio's Italian Restaurant & Grille

"This is a nice little Italian restaurant. Dim lighting makes it romantic but the layout doesn't give you much privacy when talking. The bread rolls are good and the food was also good. Will definitely return."

"We went for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Once all the meals were brought out the server realized my daughters plate was missing, so we had to wait for them to make it while our food was getting cold (no discount). We got one basket of bread and the server never offered to bring more. After two refills of drinks we had to ask for more refills and still didn’t get them prior to leaving. I stacked the dirty cups/dishes up because the tables are small, the server left them there the entire time while we ate. She seemed more annoyed we were there, not very happy or enthusiastic. Food was okay, nothing I would have to have again. Oh and during all this there were about 5 other families in the restaurant so it wasn’t even that busy. Definitely disappointed overall. For the price and service, we would have been better off going to Olive Garden. I will say the restaurant is super cute and the Italian vibe is there, but the service was no better than McDonald’s."

"I used to go to Florio’s for lunches all the time on Fridays when I worked near by. We’ve gotten takeout from there during COVID. Every time it was great. It has probably been a year since I have been there though. We just recently went for dinner. The hostess was visibly annoyed when she found we had a party of 7 and no reservation. If you weren’t going to have room, just politely say so and we could have found another place to eat. There were several tables open when we were seated and they were still open when we left though too. The food wasn’t nearly as good as before. While several rolls were good, several were also fairly hard. The soup I had was good. My entree wasn’t up to par though. The vodka sauce used to be more pink and more creamy. 3 of us had the same dish since it was always great. It was more bitter and “broken” and this time. My kid liked her Alfredo. The server was great though! This used to be a gem, but I’m not sure I will be going back."
