"Keep Going! Don’t waste your time and energy here. Very unprofessional office staff, they are rude, unfriendly and act as if your lying to them. We transferred to a bigger apartment it was a total nightmare. They are greedy, my old apartment was professionally cleaned and carpets cleaned and they kept our deposit except $32.00. The rudest maintenance men, came into our apartment without letting us know, we have a service animal and with no regard to him, lied about he had permission. I’ve explained so many times to them Do Not come in my apartment without a phone call. Our supposedly upgraded apartment has been a nightmare. Very dirty, new cabinet drawers falling off because they put small screws in them, the master bedroom vent doesn’t give out heat. Regardless if you request a maintenance call, the manager doesn’t make sure it’s done right so why bother. The parking is so limited, and be careful if you have stuff in your truck the maintenance man will say it’s used as a storage and they will have it towed. I’ve lived in luxury apartments before coming here and it’s a shame how bad this place is."

"Oscar, with the maintenance crew, did such great work fixing our washing machine. He came quickly after we put in our maintenance request, and did a very thorough job of making sure our washing machine was working. He also made sure to let me know that if anything goes wrong with it again, that the maintenance crew is aware of the problem and will be happy to assist in the next steps of solving the problem. Thanks again, Oscar!"

"DO NOT RENT HERE!! This has been the worst experience I have had living in apartment complexes. Sure, they are nice and friendly until you sign lease. All they want is to charge you for anything and everything. Amin fees, maintenance fees, utility fees, when you pay your own utilities. The parking is the worst! The spaces are too small for any vehicle to park and get in out and comfortably. Several times we had to get in through the trunk to even move the vehicle out it's ridiculous. They had a chance to make the parking a better fit when repainting the lines but choose to keep it small for their own benefit. If they would stop being so greedy and trying to get more and more money out of you they could open up the covered parking for more people to park. They will SCAM you for any money they can!! The floors are warped so it's not leveled, you can hear anyone and everyone walking around. They will tell you how much your rent will be but every month it's not consistent. We signed lease for $1,200 for a one bedroom but we would pay anywhere from $1,300 on up. The maintenance men would say maintenance request completed but it would not be completed. There have been multiple times I have seen the maintenance men peeing behind the dumpsters, smoking on patios and yelling around to each other. I don't understand how any of that is professional. For the amount you pay at this apartment complex is not worth it. Moving out was a hassle with the women in the office. They are the most unprofessional stuck-up women I have ever come in contact with. Trying to get a form signed by them for my next apartment I was moving to they gave me the run around. We paid rent on time every month, we were never late on payments or anything. One lady said they lost the form, one lady said they can't sign it, one lady said they can't fax it. It's so unprofessional I cannot stress enough how hard it was to get away from this place. I had to sit in the office in front of all those women in the office on the phone with my new apartment complex, who was also confused as to why they were acting like that to get that paper "emailed" because I am not allowed to see it. It was dumb and unnecessary. They were talking about me in Spanish right in front of me. I have been renting for 8 years and I have never ran into situations like this when working with management. Unprofessional. That doesn't even get into how the year living there was when it came to the neighbors partying and yelling and screaming at 4am and management not caring about it. Any time you go to the office for help you get nasty looks and no one wants to help you. They will always say our manager is on vacation she will get back with you... that lady was never and work and our concerns were never addressed. WE NEVER GOT OUT DEPOSIT BACK!!! We had no pets, we were very clean and nothing was broken when we left. We had our carpets cleaned and everything was just as move in but we got $1.50 back from our deposit. How?????? When we asked why they said our carpet had to be replaced, this and that was broken and had to be replaced.. it's unprofessional. I will never want to rent with this management every again. I feel for anyone living here or chooses to rent here. All these reviews are real people living in this place that you would think would be a nice safe neighborhood. We were fooled I hope you don't ever fall into what we experienced living here."

"Beware to all future renters, this complex and management will try to scam you in any way possible. I lived here for over 4 years and slowly watched this place get worse and worse. peoples stair cases took many months if not almost a full year to fix them and they are still all falling to pieces, if you attempt to move out BE sure to have multiple signed copies of your lease. as they change and tweak move out costs and dates every year, as well as add additional monthly costs that add up to a ridiculous amount, OH and the rent will also increase yearly by a large margin, so the longer you stay the worse off you are, they are pretty much asking for your money and slowly pushing their customers out by poor management and awful staff on top of insane pricing. Good luck to those who don't read reviews and fall for these peoples trap."

"Dear Potential Renters, Before you decide to make Mountain Run your new home, there are some crucial details you should be aware of. Over the past year, our property has come under new management, and unfortunately, the changes have had a noticeable impact. Maintenance of the grounds has declined. We used to have a professional landscaping company that kept everything tidy, mowed the lawns, and controlled weeds. Now, grass cutting is infrequent and not well done, with clippings left in the walkways. Weed control has been neglected, and dog waste has become a common sight, so be cautious when walking your dog. To add to the frustration, maintenance requests are not addressed promptly, and additional fees are charged on top of rent for amenities and maintenance. While they've introduced amenities like a fire pit and a nice barbecue, these features are only available during the summer when it’s 100° outside. Nobody wants to use a fire pit when it’s 100° and the pool should be kept open year-round so that we can make use of the amenities that we pay for. Furthermore, I've had unpleasant experiences when visiting the office, where I was treated rudely, yelled at, and even cursed at by a lady with very short hair. I genuinely hope that Mountain Run can improve its service, treat its renters with respect, and make the necessary changes to enhance your living experience."
