"I am 23 year old who is a student and lives with parents still. I live in apartment complex on Louisiana called Aspen Ridge apartments. I lived here for almost 4 years now. I have family members who were trying to move in to the same complex as me and my parents. They came in to fill out the applications, they gave the payment for the applications. At the beginning of the month the manager at the apartments had these family members were approved for 4 bedroom apartment in the bottom floor that they could leave 50$ deposit which they did.. That week my family members had a death in the family which they were focusing and grieving for and for the next week they called the apartments to get an update for the apartment that they gave a 50$ deposit for and she then proceed to say she moved on to someone else because she didn't hear anything from us. When we asked about the 50$ she would avoid the question and continue telling us she moved to someone else. She then asked for a co signer because these family members didn't have have a SSN but a ITIN and tried telling us they didn't hav credit. Which they did because they have credit cards and an auto loan with there ITIN number. She they continued saying it was different type of credit, when we asked flor clarification she couldn't give that to us and just went around the topic, repeating her self that it was different type of credit they needed in order to live in this complex. So that's when I come into this and tell her i can cosigned. W stared filling out all these other applications and i paid for this application that I needed to sign when like if I was moving in when she just wanted a cosigner. We were compliance and we took every information she was asking us for when today she started making it harder for us to move in after the back and forth she was making us do. She sent out 2 employment verifications to our employers yesterday around 3/4pm. She called me today telling me she hasn't received those back and they couldn't be moving in on the 30th because she hasn't received those. I then told her I assumed you didn't because they were sent out yesterday afternoon and they don’t take care of this right away. She then continued to tell me they could go get their deposit because she spoke to her manager and they decided they weren't good candidates because I was giving her an attitude and was harassing her. WHICH I NEVER DID!! I clearly asked for clarification on why she was asking for more new things every-time we took another paper she asked for. When I asked her about the 50$ they had perviously given to her for the bottom apartment she then only said " They didn’t give no 50$ and they can come pick up the 400, have a good day" and hung up. They have a receipt of when they purchased the 50$ money order and gave it to her. I will taking this someone higher because it's unfair the way she behaves and acts like the victim when one only ask for clarifiactions."

"The new manager is TERRIBLE...Erica was FINALLY getting stuff done around here and now we have a terrible manager again now that she's gone. NOTHING EVER GETS DONE NOW. There's no security, no cameras, the fence is fake and never works, drug addicts spend time dumpster diving here. Unless they FIX the fence and INSTALL security cameras and hire a security patrol, this place will remain a crime ridden place. I wish we had Erica back..."

"I can't believe this place I have done my part and paid rent. My floors where damaged due to flooding from the kitchen sink no one ever came to fix it my mom fell and broke her hip so my husband ended up having to fix floor him self we haven't had a AC or heater for the last 3 years we have no running sink in the master bathroom for over a year they send some one out who just says they are ordering parts but never come back then a new maintenance person come and has no idea what is going on then we start from square one again nothing happens this is a none stop issue with this place and I recommend to everyone never to rent from here or any of there buildings I have paid rent then they sell the apartments and all of a sudden they want to come at me 3 months later saying I didn't pay rent lol this place is a joke."
