Reviews
"Worst business Usually I don’t write reviews, but I have given Joe Milo’s unexceptionable behaviors a chance before, especially if it happens every time I visit the store. I actually dread coming to the store, I would much rather dive 20 plus miles, to the other nearest silver supply store. Three ladies in particular, owner wife, lady with glasses/ long salt & pepper hair, and lady with textured red hair, plus spray hand sanitizer bottle/ temperature reader, (Bullies of the store). They treat me, and what I’ve seen, native people/ native elders, with a bad attitudes, and making customers feel uncomfortable. It’s not a very welcoming environment, with confederate flag jewelry, and everything blocked and guarded. I’m not sure if it’s racial motivated, but we are treated nothing more than dogs, and told where to go, and where to leave, being told to speak up! Lady that Guards in front always is up in my literal face, asking what I am here for, trying her best for me to tell her every literal detail of what I am purchasing, before I go to the enter the supply side of the store. She just runs the mailboxes it seems, not the supply side of the store. Two ladies behind the counter, (owner wife, and salt & pepper,) talk not their best to the costumers, making sure we stick to our assigned letter. I feel I can’t look around in the store, without being followed, like I am going to steal. They are still in pandemic era of running the store, when US and Navajo nation declared pandemic is over, mask wearing, temperature checks, sanitizing hands with spray bottle, and plexiglass shields are still in use. I sometimes buy jewelry, but I’m not sure if they’re ever going to open the jewelry side of the store, or if it just open to non native people, I’m not sure if I’m missing something. I ask to see the jewelry side of the store is open, the response is always no, or it’s closed. Why call it “Joe Milo’s Trading,” when the jewelry side of the store is always closed, store name would say “Joe Milo’s Supply”?!? I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who had this experience, there is more to what I’ve seen, but I’ve tried my best to include as much as I can. This has been continuous behavior with Joe Milo’s, I would have to file a complaint with (BBB) Better Business Bureau, because I don’t think this is how a business should be conducted, please don’t shop there if you’re looking for a store full bullies."
