JJ's Axes And Ales is a unique bar located at 3016 West 57th Street in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This establishment offers a one-of-a-kind experience where guests can enjoy both axe throwing and a selection of ales. To reserve a spot for axe throwing, simply click "Book Now", although walk-ins are also welcome based on availability. No reservations are required for enjoying the ales, playing pool, or visiting the game room - it's first come, first serve.
Guests aged 12-17 are welcome to participate in axe throwing with direct parental supervision for the entire duration of their session. Minors under 18 must have a parent present to sign the waiver, as well as at least one chaperone to stay during their time throwing axes. JJ's Axes And Ales prides itself on providing a safe and enjoyable axe-perience for all guests.

"Was really fun and an exciting first experience at throwing axes! The guide was really helpful and let us try things out for fun along with competitive games. I'm pretty competitive and would have given a full 5 stars but the boards were pretty used up and super chipped up to a point where it was tough to get a solid stick. That meant throwing harder and I guess it was no surprise that we broke an axe handle. Not sure if that is normal. Looking around the room most boards were in better shape so felt lame to be playing on bad boards."
"Seven was an amazing person to be helped by. she was super friendly and over the top amazing! we were here for a private birthday party and the atmosphere plus helpful staff made this the perfect place for the party. we will be back! (no rating on food cuz we didn't eat there)"
"2 Pool tables in a rentable room for small gathering. Fun to learn to throw an ax. Good place for team building. Food comes from JJs across the parking lot, and pretty good chislic and nachos."
"We just had a company outing at JJ's. Our 'axepert' was fun and kept our group engaged with tips & tricks and also helped set up some friendly competition. :) I would definitely recommend JJ's for a group or just a fun night out. Everyone had a great time!"
"Serious a lot more fun than you’d think. You don’t have to worry about bounce back like you’d think, unless you’re being really really dumb. Some of the crew are really dynamic and snarky and fun to learn from. Honestly it’s been really fun experience the couple of times we’ve been here."
