"First time trying this place. At 9:00 a.m. there a line, but it’s worth the wait. Recommend the ham and cheese croissant: flakey bread, meaty ham, gooey cheese. The seeds on top give it a savory deliciousness. Also bought almond croissants and an olive bread loaf. Can’t wait to try them. Heads up, this is a to go place, not a cafe."
"Burque Bakehouse is our family’s favorite - the goods are clearly the product of incredible effort, skill, and love for the process required of impeccable baking. Cut open the butter croissant and look at the web-like layering achieved over multiple days of preparation and labor. Our favorites are the sourdough bread, coffee cake, croissants, artichoke and mushroom danishes, as well as the rosemary-brown sugar latte. I’m gladly willing to save up and spend a fair bit of cash at a place that is so well worth it."
"Our new favorite bakery in ABQ. I would order the Tiramisu cruffin again without hesitation. Decent amount of parking but unfortunately no seating. 10/10. Ask for napkins because they don’t automatically give you any."
"Oh my biscuits, BB was so good. There was a feeling of camaraderie standing outside in 42° waiting for your order to finish (the line was fairly short when I arrived around 08:30 and it moves quickly). I ordered the eggnog cruffin, green chile croissant, and a kouign amman, all of which were absolutely delightful. The KA I could not put down until it was gone. I also got a cup of coffee and everything felt really reasonably priced for exceptional quality. 10/10 would (and will) go back."
