"Ruby's is a must visit in downtown Spearfish! Great coffee whether it's an Americano or a Café Miel, or their Ruby's Special. Delicious made from scratch baked goods with gluten free options. Owned and operated by a wonderful local family. Nice atmosphere to catch up with a friend, have a Bible Study, do some homework, or just watch the traffic go by on Jackson. Outdoor seating is available, which is nice for the summer and fall, as well as those occasional 65 degree January days (no, that's not a typo)."

"Been going to Ruby's Roost for a while now and it's not for not you can't get enough of them. They have such amazing drinks, and pastries, and their breakfast sandwich is perfect!!! The Boyd family are absolutely wonderful and genuinely the nicest folks you'll meet. They alone make it worth stopping by. If your local or traveling through you have to stop by Ruby's Roost...and keep going if you can. Their Cinnamon rolls, Carmel Rolls, Raspberry White Chocolate Scones, and Mochas are my personal favorites and highly recommend them to everyone... just get there early to make sure you get one, since they can sell out quickly!!!! "I enjoyed the delicate flavour blend in the scone and the fluffy texture. The cinnamon bun was delicious and rich with enough gooyness. My latte was balanced to allow the flavours to come through. Delightful place to relax and savour some delicious drinks and baking served by a cheerful family."
