"This has been our second time staying at The Lost Resorts cabins and it definitely won’t be the last. If you are looking for an escape from the AZ desert heat, a family vacation, or a romantic getaway for the two of you - this place is perfect for all of that. The cabin is modern and has all the amenities you will need. It is decorated in “cabin themes” that really make it feel warm and cozy. The beds are comfy with plenty of pillows and the bathrooms are fully stocked with items you might have forgotten to bring. The views are beautiful and serene with plenty of lush pines and the soothing sounds of the Little Colorado River flowing right from your cabins deck! We were there when it snowed (mid March) and the place looked like a postcard. There are local places within walking distance to eat a meal at, plenty of hiking trails to discover and everyone is very welcoming. If you should need anything or have any concerns, the Lost Resort staff members are great at getting back to you promptly. If you go once, it’s sure to become a favorite destination."
"Well, as for lodging close to Sunrise... I guess this is the closest you can get. If these cabins were $150 a night (like advertised), I would say totally worth it because your expectationswould be very low. But over $350 a night I would say pretty disappointing. Our cabin (175) had black mold in the master shower thanks to the drippy shower head and poor tile installation. The most uncomfortable couch. The view is of what is left over from a forest fire. The creek is nice, but don't kid yourself about "fishing"... the chances of catching a fish in that creek is about the same as these mountains being filled with trees in the next 2 decades. Overall I would say a 3 star is being very generous for $350 a night... but if it was $150 a night I would say it's a 5 star."
"My wife and I rented Aspen Cabin #4 over the new year holiday, welcoming in 2024 with a little ski trip. The cabin met my two main objectives, it was warm and it had a nice bathroom for post skiing hot showers. The cabin is modern on the inside and has nice amenities, like a new fridge and stove, TVs in main room and bedroom, nice flooring. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner. It was just the two of us so we used spare bedroom (2 twin beds) to store extra stuff, like ski boots and clothing, jackets, etc. We would definitely rent this cabin again."
"Our group rented out the Red Setter Lodge for a weekend and it was absolutely incredible. The property is beyond beautiful, and the lodge has everything you need to accommodate a large group. The highlight is truly the back yard space that sits right along the creek. Stunning!"
"Absolutely loved this resort, we stayed in one of the casitas in the meadow with our 2 year old son and he had a blast. The views were unreal, leaves were changing and the scenery was breathtaking. So much grass for our little one to run around and explore, he also enjoyed using the kid fishing poles and balls around the meadow. Food and service at the restaurant was great, we will definitely be coming back!"
