Simpson Hotel

"We spent September 17, 2023 at the Simpson Hotel in the sweetheart room and it was absolutely delightful. Wonderful hosts, comfortable bed, terrific cats, beautiful garden, amazing artwork and more books than you could read in a lifetime. The Ranch House bar and restaurant is within easy walking distance and you’re a short scenic drive from the catwalk in New Mexico and the town of Silver City. We will definitely return for another little getaway."

"This is a cute hotel. The owners are very friendly. They gave us some coffee and tea in the morning. They have a cat sanctuary, all the cats are super friendly. The sweetheart room was so wonderful and comfortable. They gardens outside are beautiful and really big. They also have some little goats that were so playful. I highly recommend this place if you are staying the night in Duncan."

"The garden is absolutely wonderful. It’s so serene. We took our family pictures there and it was just awesome. As soon as you enter the garden you feel more calm and relaxed. The temperature even drops. I took a peek in the front and side windows of the hotel and it is full of amazing antiques. It looks like such a quaint lovely place to stay. You can literally feel the history of the place by just being near the building. I’m hoping to book a nights stay there very soon."

"My wife and I recently stayed for 2 nights at this historic hotel. The innkeeper hosts, Deborah and Clayton are great people who treated us like family. The room we stayed in was well decorated and cozy. We enjoyed the delicious vegetarian breakfast prepared by Clayton and served by Deborah. We also loved the morning and afternoon tea/coffee which was included in the room rent. The garden in the back of the hotel, with all the artful natural decorations and water fountains is just a perfect place for a quiet afternoon meditation. We were surprised to also know that Clayton and Deborah worked themselves to create such a wonderful and welcoming environment. In fact, we became friends during our stay at their place and have invited them to visit us when they come to our town. Any time we visit the town, this is the place we will always stay. We highly recommend the Simpson Hotel to all who need to stay overnight in the area. Thank you, Clayton and Deborah for your great hospitality and friendship."
