Reviews of Circle K
"Convenient, lol... fast, snacks, drinks, gas. They got what you need! I hate that they don't stay open 24-7!!!!! Some close out of nowhere at random times.... but all in all it's a necessity in my life. It's just right down the road. There's always one just around h he corner when you need it!"
"One of the cashiers is so rude. Makes you feel like you’re doing something wrong by shopping here and paying at the register. Unrelated, but I bought some milk and grabbed one from the back because I’d grabbed an expired one on a previous trip. One from the back was dated 10/12/2022 (current day). The ones in the front, however, were dated 10/17/2022. I have never once worked a job that required me to stock items, but I do happen to be an accountant and so I’m, coincidentally, familiar with LIFO and FIFO. I also possess a small amount of common sense, enough at least to know that the items closer to their expiration dates should probably be placed in a manner that would give them the best chance of being picked first. Anyway, the rude cashier. I walked up to pay and I guess I didn’t line up In the right spot, so she made sure to let me know despite there being only 2 people in the store, including myself. The other person was walking out after paying. I ended up where I was because I followed a family that had just checked out at that register. It was my fault for not anticipating that she was jumping back and forth between both registers. Then, when I was giving her my gas order, she started talking over the second half of my sentence. It was the important part where I said the dollar amount and the pump I needed it on. I assumed she didn’t hear what I’d said, so I started saying it again, only for her to cut me off almost immediately, saying “yeah, I got it”. Again, my fault for underestimating her ability to shout at another customer and hear and process what I was saying at the same time. Feel like she could’ve just let me wrap up the rest of the very short sentence I was planning on saying. But yeah, just a weird experience. The whole interaction had this vibe like I’d walked in and immediately insulted her entire extended family by name before crushing up a bag of Doritos and spreading the crumbs all over the floor before casually strolling up to the register."
"NOT 24 HOURS!!! I get that everyone is short-staffed and it's probably why they cut their hours. But it's ridiculous to keep your hours online as 24 hours when you're not. If you are now closing at 11pm and opening at 5am fine but curerntly people are driving out of their way to go to a 24hr place. Poor business practice."
"Inside isnt bad, employees are decent, the older gentleman they just hired is really nice or at least tries to be even when customers dont reciprocate. The problem I have here is the amount of bird feces at most pumps, I drove around trying to find the one with the least feces around it and used that pump. (Will have picture attached of pump with least I used.) Other pumps are really really bad. Bird feces is highly dangerous for disease, needs be address asap and would change to a 4 or 5 star no problem."
"I had to use the bathroom and the employee (or manager, wasn’t able to tell) practically growls at me and said he was going to get security on me. I get out and ask him if everything was ok. He scoffed at me and said that they’re closed. Maybe you could’ve just said that instead of threatening a customer. I was let out of the place like I was a prisoner. Never going to this location again!"
