"J & S was able to diagnose a cracked and plugged pipe under my floor, and their crew opened a hole in the concrete, dug out the dirt to reach the problem, and fixed it, in just over half a day. They were willing to repour the concrete floor but I was able to do that myself. Excellent work, friendly folks, fixed a problem that a previous plumber was unable to. I highly recommend J & S."

"I called J&S because of a leak in the main septic line at my home. I sent photos of the leak in the PVC pipe - I'd dug it out myself and cleaned out the area for them. They scheduled the repair for two days after I called. Two days came and went. No one showed up and no one called to let me know they were running late. I called again. Oh oops they'd be there in two days. No one showed those two days later either. And again no phone call from them. Meanwhile the leak was bad enough I could not be at my place. Finally 7 days after my initial call they arrived, spliced a piece of pipe into where it was leaking. Then I was told J&S no longer cleans out septic lines. The bill is high considering they put me on hold for 7 days and then could not do all the needed work. They don't tell you up front they no longer clean out septic lines. If I'd known that at the start I would have gone to a different local company and asked them to do the entire job. Now I have a J&S bill and a septic line cleanout bill from a diff company."

"J & S Plumbing came to my house 3 times to fix a toilet that wouldn't flush/tub that was backing up. Each time they spent several hours under the house working with the pipe vent. Eventually they drilled a hole through the house and put the pipe through the house and up to the roof. (They didn't attach it to the house though.) The next day we had the same problem. I called them back and was told there was nothing more they could do and to call somebody else. ?? When another plumber came out, he found that there was a pipe under the house that was collapsed. When he replaced it, problem was fixed!! He also said that the new pipe the other plumber put in that went outside was a horrible job...the connections weren't even sealed!! SO...yeah, 1 star."
