"I went to see ANDREW SCHANNEN MD for wrist problems and found him to be an excellent doctor. He was personable and professional, and explained his findings with easy to understand thoroughness. His thoughtful conclusions on ways my issues could be handled medically let me make informed decisions about what I wanted for my care. I will definitely be back to see him for future orthopedic needs."
"My experience has been great with Presbyterian Orthopaedic Clinic has been great. Great care, goodly amount of time for appointments."
"Tired of waiting 30 plus minutes past my appt. Spoke to the kids at counter and he said, oh, i guess they are a little behind. Maybe this clinic can send a text saying they are 30 minutes or more behind like they send the reminders about when to check in. I would not have to have taken off early. This happens everytime i have an appt. Here. Setting schedules up for ever 15 minutes is not working. It supposed to be about the patient not the dollar. Very discouraged again! Finally got called back. The nurse/tech very nice and understanding. With that said, its been an hour since my original appt and i still have not seen the doc. I did get xrays, the nurse asked if i had them done and i said, it would have made sense but no i was told by this office i had to wait for the appt. I did ask the front desk if there was a clinic on the West side and her response was, i only have two and the doctors are very busy. She came off a bit snooty. Again, very discouraging. At least the nurse said that the west side might even have weekend appts. I did not want to come back here but iwas told that the doctors dont like it when patients switch. Well guess what, i dont care. I wont come back"
"I will not be returning to this office. The receptionist and nurse were unkind and not accommodating. As a new patient and have had broken my first bone (wrist), I received a very unwelcoming first impression. I do not have a caretaker and am not local to the area. I have seen and been given much better care elsewhere. Both the receptionist and nurse refused to let me be seen claiming the doctor was double-booked, although I saw him visiting with patients in the lobby twice. I was asked to re-schedule upon arriving a mere 5 minutes late. All I needed were follow-up x-rays to make sure my bones were healing correctly. The apathetic attitude and lack of empathy is disappointing for a doctor's office."
