"I'm a little disappointed I got turned away today from aspire. All the reviews about John I didn't get to meet with him it was a female counseling and she basically told me she can't help me I don't know why I was able to meet with John but oh well I'm definitely not going back or recommending it for anyone who needs someone to talk to for any reasons ."

"John has been my counselor for almost two years now. After almost 29 years of marriage, in which I suffered from domestic abuse, I went through a very difficult divorce. I never told anyone what I went through during my marriage. During my divorce my ex-husband has told people many things that are untrue about me. However, because of what John has taught me and the support he has given me, I do not let what my ex says bother me. I am also no longer afraid of my ex and will not live in fear of him! For the past 25 years, I have also taken care of my brother who suffers from severe paranoid. schizophrenia. He is often hospitalized, unstable and threatening towards me. I am sure people don’t want to live in fear of their own brother, so John is working on this with me. I immediately connected with John, and I felt that I was able to trust him. He was there for me at a time when I felt like I had no one. He has treated me with kindness, patience, compassion, and he is very knowledgeable in his field. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend John. I have also suffered the loss of my employers father, her daughter, and then my boss (of 25 years) all before and during my divorce. Unfortunately, six months later, my dad unexpectedly passed away. This was two weeks before my divorce settlement. On top of that, my house which was paid off had to be sold. I had a short time to move out which I basically did alone all while working full time. The loss of my dad has been very difficult on me. The so called friends that I thought I had, well I guess they weren’t really my friends because it seems that John and maybe a couple other people have been there for me. As a result of everything that I have been through, I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Well as you may have read, John has his hands full with me. Thanks to John, I no longer have to pull over on the side of the road having a panic attack, and my depression has improved too. If I need an extra appointment, John has always been very accommodating to get me in at the last minute. I have had to cancel with short notice, and I have never experienced any rudeness from him just understanding and willingness to reschedule. If you are looking for a counselor that speaks from their heart and is knowledgeable, kind, patient and compassionate then I highly recommend John at Aspire Counseling!"
