Reviews
"This is the closest urgent care to us and we have had to wait 2 hours to be seen by the dr. My son with HFM had to literally wait and hour and a half to just be simply tested. Not even diagnosed. A screaming, child with a fever and blisters all over his face and not one person made an effort for 2 hours. This happens everytime."
"This place never has appointments open. I just left more than an hour before they are to close with an empty parking lot and was turned away because I did not have an appointment! I couldn’t get through to make one and the website was all messed up. So much for the word Urgent. These so called urgent care clinics are turning into lazy family practices."
"Great care. Knowledgeable. Listen. Made online appointment through My Chart for Presbyterian. Walking are only if not booked all day. Had zero issues."
"They say they take walk ins but they do not. Even though the parking lot and waiting room were empty I was told they were booked up. You can't make an appointment at this facility online. The only choice for online appointment is Albuquerque not Rio Rancho."
"DO NOT SEE Dr. Ian Duchen. Warning, long review but please read. I went into this urgent care yesterday (which was a monday) after previously being seen at another urgent care. The week prior my jaw was killing me and my left side of the face started to swell up as the week progressed. First urgent care I went to on Friday saw how bad the swellling had gotten but didn't see an infection or issues inside my mouth. So the Dr there decided to treat it as an infection but I was told if the swelling did not go down after 48 hrs of the antibiotics go back to urgent care. Sunday I had seemed fine. Swelling had gone down some and my jaw wasnt to sore. Monday (yesterday) I woke up and swelling still was slightly down but my jaw was killing me again so i decided to come to this urgent care because it was closer to my house. I assumed sense I had tried antibiotics they would want to x-ray to just make sure they weren't missing anything. Boy was I wrong and this Dr. made it known. A little back story, I recently had been diagnosed and treated for thyroid cancer. That came with removal of my thyroid and doing radioactive iodine. I felt this health history was important for a dr to know so maybe they wouldn't just disregard me. Well this Dr. did just that. He came in like he was already in a hurry. Asked me what was going on and as I explained it and started to explain my health history. He pretty much started talking over me to shut me up and tell me, and i quote, " This has nothing to do with your cancer or the radioactive iodine so get that out of your head." Okay first off I never said it did have anything to do with it, but Im letting you know because I did have issues with my glands swelling up while doing radioactive iodine because they said it could settle in my glands. Which it did. After this he proceeded to talk to me like I was being some dramatic young girl. I told him i took a picture of what the swelling looked like when i went to the other urgent care. I showed him and the first thing he said was, "that your right side" Umm no it was my left the picture was flipped. He assumed i took the picture in a mirror. Than I suggested maybe TMJ which he also shot down. When I asked if we should do an x-ray, because I really feel like i need one just to be sure nothing else is going on due to my health history, he goes, "why? Why do you think you need an x-ray?" Well my past health history makes me worried considering I had a tumor in my neck for most of my life and not a single Dr noticed or did anything about it until This last year and im 32. He than seemed VERY surprised that i had even had radiation or a thyroidectomy. Honestly he made it seem like he didn't even believe me. He even took his flashlight out to look at my scar which by that point I just felt mocked and stupid and HE made me feel like that. When I asked for the X-ray he about pushed me out the door and said, "it's just a way for presbyterian to make more money and doesn't even help the pt. Have a great day there is the exit." I sat in my car crying and woke up today with the same pain. I just made an apt with my PCP but even my endocrinologist is at this same hospital and honestly I don't want to step foot in that place again. I already have moved to a thyroid specialist so I will never come back to this hospital again. If the health care system didn't suck already he makes it even worse."
