Reviews of San Juan Health Partners Family Medicine Farmington
"I was in the hospital with a blood glucose level of over 1600 in October 2023. I’ve heard it was it was the highest anyone has ever seen. I needed a drastic change in my health care choices, and my wife called SJHP Family Medicine. The lady who answered the call asked about my situation and took the time to listen to my story. She was caring and compassionate, and scheduled me with Patrick Oglesby. She told my wife that he would be the perfect fit. What we didn’t know was we had just been introduced to an incredible practitioner who runs the most amazing program. He is a Transitional Practitioner who helps people after a hospital stay, stabilizes them, and facilities a regular PCP. He went over all of my records with a fine tooth comb, and referred me to diabetic education, healthy plan management, ordered all new tests and labs as needed, helped me get started on the Dexcom CGM, and also got me on the Omnipod insulin pump. My first appointment was the most educational and customized doctors appointment of my life. It was two hours long and filled with medical advice that was perfectly tailored to my situation. Mr. Oglesby is a unique and lively practitioner who is engaging and knowledgeable. His appointments are at least forty-five minutes long so he can take the time to be thorough. It’s not a stretch to say that Patrick Oglesby put me on a path that will save my life. The transitional program that he runs is absolutely mind blowing, and Mr. Oglesby is the perfect practitioner to be running it. He is dedicated to a healthy recovery, and instilling the knowledge and resources for general wellness. The web of referrals that he provides creates a complete network of care. On a personal note, when he makes that final referral to your PCP, or in my case a new PCP, it is a jolting experience. You’ve gone from crawling to walking and he sets you up for being able to run with your PCP. The hard part is leaving him. However, he leaves you with so very much. After three months with him, my A1C is now an 8.2, down from a 16.6!"
"I was turned away and told that I needed to reschedule for being two minutes late to my appointment. I can be made to wait for an hour after my scheduled appointment time but apparently if I'm two minutes late I just can't be seen. This is a ridiculous policy and I feel like it's just the front desk staff that don't want to do their job and want to go home early."
"Doctors are amazing here but I have noticed that scheduling staff and the answering people don't actually care. I had to call and leave voice-mail for 3 days and no one called me back finally got ahold of someone and messed my whole appointment up. I get you are busy but when I arrived for my appointment same thing no one wanted to work up front besides one lady. Everyone goofing off and not a care in the world... if you can get ahold of anyone I do like these doctors but the front end staff needs work"
"Dr. SA'ENA QUINCY is one of the best Dr's I have ever been seen by. Staff is very kind. Going to Dr's in farmington is usually hell. Sure alot of people can agree. The staff and Dr really seem to care. They bring hope to patients. And really work hard to find a way to heal and help. Thank you san juan health partners."
"I've been going here for several years, even before they moved to their current location. Everyone is nice and friendly. Anna Buck makes me feel like family and takes time to hear me out. She works to figure out what my issues are, believe me, not easy! Great job!"
