"Took my son here for an emergency as it was the closest hospital. Waited in the front for 2 hours and finally left before being seen. They later sent me a bill for WAITING that was $900!! yea I’m not paying for waiting. Don’t worry, karma is real and you will get yours one day"
"The staff were hit and miss. The RNs, MAs, and AAs. Did their job. They were as good as they could be for the circumstances. Having being super busy and waiting to see who stays and who leaves in the E.R. is understandable. Some people have addictions, and other types of med "hacking". A mixture of a small great staff working under the few only there for a paycheck. To those whom actually care and want to help, believe me you are recognized. To those lost in your position, please, please, please go back to your roots. It's concerning how much slips through unnoticed. May God bless you in the way you are accustomed to receiving."
"My son and I were seen today for flu like symptoms. Some staff weren’t as welcoming but they weren’t rude and we didn’t feel rushed or unheard. They just were going through the motions which made it a disconnect. Some of the staff took time to make my son feel comfortable knowing he’s a kid and not feeling well. The doctor really took care of us and I was so happy he didn’t brush it off as “take Tylenol and drink more fluids” he tested us for everything, took X-rays gave us snacks and water. Knowing our medical history he really took the time to make sure we left with solutions and answers. Despite the wait being long it wasn’t without reason and they best they could do. We also had a bed in the hall which wasn’t fun but I understand we weren’t as urgent as others and that’s okay just awkward. The kindness and time they took to care for us was so meaningful. I really don’t think they under what that meant to me and my son."
"At first, it was nice to have actual people care. Then they nonchalantly told me I have three benign tumors in the scientific term, hematoma, and when I asked about what it meant, they told me it's nothing. So I go yesterday, yes 02/27/2024 because my son wasn't keeping anything down. I didn't know what was wrong with him and they checked him in, but kept moving us far far down the list. A little boy around my sons age walked in 4 HOURS after we did and got seen within ten minutes! I was getting mad so I went to the bathroom. Low and behold they called my sons name and when I walked out of the bathroom, a nurse whisked away the wrong patient knowing dang well I heard her; a so called blonde nurse with definitive brunette roots just looked at me and laughed. So I went up to the counter. They ignored me. My fiancé went up to the counter. He asked blondie in the black scrubs and white shoes if they called his name, and they didn't even look at the list, she rudely said no. So he asked the nice receptionist who was absolutely stunning and not at all like the cheap barbie you hired with the fake weave and fake blonde hair who acts like a schoolgirl at 34. The receptionist gave him the most upsetting frown and told us we can leave if we desired to because MY 3 YEAR OLD SON WAS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST AND EVERYONE ELSE IN FRONT OF US FOR HOURS WENT IN BEFORE A TODDLER. IS IT HIS HERITAGE? YOU RACIST AGAINST NATIVES? TAKING CARE OF OUR KIDS? MORE LIKE YOU PEOPLE ARE ABUSING OUR CHILDREN JUST BECAUSE YOUR WHATEVER IDEOLOGY HAS TO GET IN THE WAY OF YOU DOING YOUR JOB? Well, I hope you're terminated. The lot of you aren't real nurses, you're just pretending so you can get that fat stack and ditch people who really need help. Why are you ALLOWING "professional" RNs supposedly, to act like schoolgirls? What makes it ok for you to deny a three year old who can't keep his food down? You people are just disgusting."
"From the beginning it was bad. The person taking my son's vitals told a guy sitting next to him to take us to a room but then another guy (nurse) came to get a binder and they told him to. I know he wasn't expecting it but right away I could see that he was annoyed. Dr. Oldham, PA-C came into the room, put hand sanitizer on and didn't touch my son once. She asked us her questions about why we were there and she talked 100 miles a minute, didn't let my son fully talk and then said what tests she was going to have done. We were in the room and had already been in there for awhile, or so it felt like it and then the same male nurse comes in to type in the medication that they were going to give him in his IV. He was clicking his mouse hard and kinda lifting up the mouse to put it down hard, probably because it wasn't working properly but he didn't say anything because he didn't talk to us at all. As I was talking to my son about his Nike black sweater being discolored and telling him that it looks dirty the nurse had the audacity to tell me that his sweater looked dirty, but in a disgusted manner, so I told him excuse me but his sweater is not dirty it has discoloration from the sun. He started apologizing but at that point I was already upset. When all the tests were done, the dr came in again and explained what her diagnosis was all within a second because she talked so fast. I didn't want to ask questions so I brought the summary home and read it myself. I'm going to make an appointment with my son's primary doctor and have her explain the whole thing, the right way. This hospital has gotten so worse since COVID"
