Reviews of Cibola General Hospital
"I was just at the emergency room to be seen because I think I might have a cyst or a sign of an infection. The doctor didn’t even check properly he seemed uncomfortable. I called 7 different places to get an appointment to see if it’s cancerous. I got an appointment thank god & a new doctor. Thankful for calling all over and getting progress. But that doctor didn’t care I don’t recommend going there. Go to Albuquerque or Arizona for professional medical help and care: I was highly disappointed this guy and nurses definitely there for only the money $ only and don’t care about anybody. You could be dying or have something major and they still wouldn’t care. Horrible horrible hospital."
"Had the worst experience at this hospital, there’s a reason it’s only 2.8/5. Last night my grandpa got really sick fever of 102.5, vomiting, dizziness, tremors weakness to the point he fell on the floor upon his fall I called 911, EMS came out took him to Cibola General Hospital after about an hour of waiting we had to ask for an update from the clerk since no one came out to give us an update on his condition (which she was lovely) after about 5 hours he was discharge with “stomach flu” or better yet “viral gastritis” he was told to go home rest, drink plenty fluid. At home his symptoms worsened, he was having trouble walking, balancing he was dizzy, also develop swelling and redness on his legs me being in the medical field decided to look at his lab work that was done and noticed his WBC count was very high NOT NORMAL at all and doesn’t take a genius to notice that so decided to give his primary a call and have him seen immediately because of the labs and swelling of his legs. Dr LaValley was able to get him in same day and upon examine discovered that my Grandpa did not have the stomach flu like they diagnosed him with 5 hours into his emergency department visit instead had SEPSIS, a life threatening condition! Complete negligence of the Emergency Doctor to run labs and see his WBC was high but not to run blood cultures because had he done cultures he would have known he was septic and also the incompetency of the nurse to not advocate for her patient clearly neither the doctor or nurse cared enough to run further test for the correct diagnosis. He was later admitted to this bogus hospital please go elsewhere if possible! UNMH is great!"
"Me and my wife went into delivery for our FIRST baby to be born, I had high hopes and confidence in this hospital to help, care and guide us during this important/Big step in our life, but instead we were laughed at, and for lake of better words, looked down on for not knowing the entirety of our situation, I was really disappointed by the rude comments, and judgment passed on us, don’t get me wrong there were a few good nurses but a lot of them passed judgment and laughed at us. Mainly at my wife for not recovering as fast as she should, Cibolda General Hospital Please instruct hospitality and comfort especially, On the “LB Unit.” I’m glad everything is done and over with cause honestly even my new born baby was a lot happier to leave that place."
"Had an outpatient procedure today. It was a very smooth process. Staff at registration and anesthesia were very nice. I was comfortable. The only downside was a couple female nurses that were not interested in what i had to say. They seemed to busy trying to leave me to go back and talk to other nurses about a camping trip. Other then that it was agreat, comfortable experience."
