"I’m disappointed that I didn’t do more research on having a metal garage installed. I would have went with a company that laid the concrete as well as the metal building. I was told that they couldn’t use the lip on the concrete because it was off by an inch. The installers told me that water will not get into the structure. Well, that wasn’t true. Water gets into the structure and soaks what I have stored in there. I called American Steel Carport about the issue and they never called me back. Update: 2-13-24 American Steel Carport responded to my post and asked me to contact them so they could fix the issue. I sent them more pictures and they didn’t t respond. I contacted them again yesterday, with negative results. The post they posted about fixing the issue is now gone. I will post the information of a company that a neighbor used for their steel structure. They are happy with the structure and it doesn’t leak. Update 3-7-24 I’ve sent them pictures of the leaking structure and they still not have contacted me to make it right. My friend had a metal structure that they are please with and doesn’t leak. Their structure was built by Central Texas Metal Buildings. They do it all, they lay the foundation and install the structure for a reasonable price."

"First experience exceeded expectations, the second purchase has not. The front post is missing trim finish but told that’s because the side panel was 3’. UPDATE: American Steel reached out and will provide a full post trim cover to the front post. I will post a picture once this is done. Thank you American Steel. UPDATE! We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at the cabin to see the trim piece was installed. It looks so nice and finished. Thank you American Steele, we now have 2 beautiful secondary buildings on our lot!"

"The finished 22x40 building is perfect. Flavio, Cesar and Luis were highly efficient and competent. They arrived at 7AM and were done by 8PM. They helped solve a dimensional problem with my slab. Austin at Big Buildings Direct was very helpful with the design choices. The quality of the product and how it fit together exceeded my expectations. You have to be patient and a little persistent about getting it on the schedule when your slab is done, because they are focused on giving the best quality at the lowest price. Finally, they scheduled it a few days out when I was expecting another 4 week wait. We feel very lucky to have this beautiful additional space. We hung shade-cloth taped to the top of the doors to change the color, and it rolls right up with the door!"
