"Horrendous practice. Wife WAS a patient there and will be going somewhere else. They cannot interpret blood results, despite remarks left by the actual lab who performed the test. Remarks that very clearly explain what the issue was. If you are someone with a condition that landed you in a hematology/oncology clinic in the first place, it may be a good idea to go somewhere else. They blow off VALID questions/concerns from their patient. As a hematology clinic, I am just flabbergasted that my wife waited almost a year for this appointment to get a cold MD and a practitioner who believes low iron can cause high WBC for over a year. Multiple specialists felt something was going on with my wife that required intervention by hematology, but they clearly have zero interest."
"They say arrive 45 min early… for 5 min of paperwork… had me arrive 45 min early while doctor was out to lunch… doctor still wasnt on time. Horrible, self-entitled physician wasting everyone elses time."
"Like others have said staff was great but Dr. Deaton pcp was horrible. I never want to see her again. She treated me like I was beneath her and she was superior to me. I would like to see her walk in my shoes."
"Dr. Franklin failed to read my medical files given to him the day I was brought to NM Cancer Center for help when My Doctor showed up unfit for surgery. Dr. Franklin also when taking with me Cancer Doctor a few times over 30 days never asked if I was on hormones. He made me have the Axumin® (fluciclovine F 18) and then charged me over $900.00 before he would even see me. I should have never had the Axumin® (fluciclovine F 18)! You have to be off hormones for 3 months before a axiom scan will work. Then he outright lied to us about what treatment I needed after he was caught scamming me. I had to file a case with the medical licensing board and the BBB just to get my money back he ripped me off for. He has never even apologized for his actions or done anything to make it right. This man is NOT to be trusted!"
"Be prepared to lose a good portion of your day waiting. The staff (at least in hematology) runs excessively late, with no explanation and little in the way of apologies. I understand that things can take longer, but patients aren't kept informed of delays and are expected just to wait, even well over an hour after their appointment times. To their credit, the staff does seem to care about treatment once they finally see you."
